and escapists like him don’t bother to read or believe MSM interviews with Iraqis, admonishing the US troops for overkill which increases sympathy for and membership in…the insurgency.

Even the UK military officials have accused the US in this regard
of tactics which have alienated Iraqis dramatically.

The Iraqis are officially requesting we stay at least one more year. And polls of Iraqis run 70-90% in favor of the Americans. Even the Sunnis are in the plus category, albeit 70% as opposed to 90% of the rest of the country.

America did not “free” Iraqis but brought them, so far, four years
of anarchy. It did not give them ” a good shot” at democracy, but
a billion shots of assassinations, killings of innocents, shots of ethnic cleansings, rapes and kidnappings.

enough Iraqis to inflame many Arabs who weren’t yet angered .

AJ, please don’t belittle Abu Ghraib as mere mischief when the International Red Cross found it incarcerated, long term, 70%
innocents. When the innocent got out many decided not to stay
so innocent, as well as other family members, which brings me to
