War On Terror Hot In Pakistan-Afghanistan
The war on terror is raging in Afghanistan and Pakistan. NATO and Afghani forces were very successful this weekend in their efforts to confront the terrorists. But it is becoming clear that the center of the terrorist effort has moved to the Northern Provinces of Pakistan. This can be evidenced by the fact Pakistanis seem to be found among the militants in Afghanistan, and there are clear indications that the IEDs in Afghanistan are Pakistani in origin. It seems the Arabs have been sent back to their countries while the fighting in the region is being done by the local pro Taliban and pro Al Qaeda groups. The Terrorists really need to topple Pakistan in order to get their nuclear weapons.
I have read that Musharif has his plane fuelled and ready for a quick exit. This would be a really bad turn of events. I hope we have a plan for his Nukes.
That’s the problem ,once he is gone the islamo-fascist control those bombs. I beleive they are shia just like Iran.
This is my one fear among many; the U.S. needs to win large over there in this final battle before our own political system destroys us from within. What is that Chinese curse; may you live in interesting times? All that and more. I hope we are alive at the end of the next two years. This is a bad situation getting worse.
I CAME ACROSS THIS TODAY at—-hedgehogcentral.blogspot.com/ and thought it was interesting. Syria with Iraq’s nuke program.
“The demographics of religion in Pakistan were significantly influenced in 1947 by the movement of Muslims to Pakistan, and Hindus and Sikhs to India. Census data [38] indicates that 96% of the population are Muslims, of whom nearly 80% are Sunni Muslims and 19% are Shi’a Muslims. Pakistan has the second highest Shia population in the world, after Iran.”

“Pakistan has an estimated population of 165,803,560, as of April 2006.[34] Pakistan has the world’s sixth largest population, placing it higher than Russia, and lower than Brazil. Because of Pakistan’s high growth rate, it is expected to surpass Brazil in population in the year 2020.”
