Spying On Di – OK, On Al Qaeda – No

Published by at 11:46 am under All General Discussions,FISA-NSA

Democrats have stepped into it big time. We need to make sure the NSA’s program of monitoring known terrorists overseas and passing any leads on possible terrorists in the US be continued. And now the Democrats are going to have to explain why it was OK to monitor Princess Di, but it is not important to investigate who Osama Bin Laden is talking to in the US. Well at least Clinton and his cronies can pat themselves on the back now. While they couldn’t find or stop Bin Laden, they were able to find Princess Di. Congrats to the Clinton administration! Job well done.

Anything’s possible, I’d discount any personal interest on Clinton’s part though I expect to hear other people float this.

The way this article reads is that Diana was forced to visit Dodi and his father because big bad US wouldn’t let her come to this country to visit her ex-boy friend. She was dumb to think the UK security forces would allow this. She evidently seemed to hang out with questionable characters. She didn’t seem worried about the well- being of her children. If there was not enough security at her ex-boy friend’s home then they could have been in danger of being kidnapped. Just think of the problems that could cause. I used to think she was greatly wronged in her marriage and she probably was but she really was not terrifically smart and had extremely poor judgement in choice of friends. Also I think she called attention to herself and played the press for publicity.

Curt Weldon: CIA, FBI ‘Out of Control’
    Kenneth R. Timmerman
    Monday, Dec. 11, 2006

WASHINGTON — Defeated Pennsylvania Republican Curt Weldon believes that the CIA and the FBI are “out of control,” and that the next Congress must do better oversight to prevent them from continued interference in domestic U.S. politics.

    …..

This is a blistering critique of what’s wrong with the FBI and CIA. Weldon was forced out partly by heavy campaign contributions by the likes of Sandy Burger, Mary McCarthy, Madelaine Albright, and all of the other Clinton contributors to Sestak (Weldon’s opponent). The final nail in Weldon’s chances were the ILLEGAL leaks out of the FBI! Read it. This is just the preview of how DIRTY they will fight to keep any Republican opponent out of the White House in ’08.

The head of the FBI is alos furious about the leaks of the Weldon investigation. It was remarkable.

One of the guys who testified in the Able Danger stuff was Philpott who was later a CO of an FFG at Mayport , Fl. Strange enough his Squadron Commander was Joe Sestak who also did a tour in the Clinton admin circles.

It’s too small a world for him to show up as just the choice runner against Weldon and all the convenient bad press in the last few days before the election.

It all ties back to the Able Danger look see and the parallel China data mining operation going on.

Someone seems to want to go to a lot of effort to bury things as much as they can.

The only problem with that is that if they do too much covering of their trail, then it becomes obvious there is a trail to cover.

To many strange things happen and some then connect the dots.

  8. MerlinOS2 says:

Another thing, I just can’t justify the statistics that CREW with such a small organization size and next to no staff could be the epicenter of so much damage to cause investigations into Tom Delay, Foley and Weldon.

If they are that good, double their staff and we could replace the CIA.

Nixon had the FBI “bug” and track John Lennon. Of the Beatles.

What this shows is that IF the PRESIDENT wants something, he gets it.

I’ll bet the Kennedy’s had files on Marilyn Monroe.

As to “how” the Brits are now advertising our “spying,” I’d guess Tony Baloney Blair isn’t all that much of an American “frwend.” And, he’s hoping to embarrass Bush.

It’s all a whole lot of “nothing” going on!

And, you’ll notice. No one mentions that Diana’s driver, Paul was a spy working for M-5. And, that after the crash she was alive for 3 hours. As she sat in an ambulance. In that tunnel. And, wasn’t moved out until the “medical team” was sure she was dead.

It was probably a “botched” murder. She was supposed to be dead in a vehicle that had NO SURVIVORS.

But that’s just me. And, I don’t care.

Um…Frostmann is a US citizen no? Since Greenwald has had to choke down Clinton groupie Emmanuel sleazy lies and since Greenwald’s pet hand wringing issue is the grave intrusion and lawlessness of the so-called warrant-less wiretaps of Al Queada’s conversations in the US – then I am SURE he’s just flipping out over this revelation!

Rule of thumb – When Democrats accuse? It’s usually what they are guilty of doing.

  11. momdear1 says:

The Republicans had 12 years to clean house, and they blew it. If the shoe had been on the other foot, law breakers like Bill and Hillary Clinton and Sandy Burglar and traitors like Sen. Rockefeller and his ilk would be behind bars or facing judges instead of lining up to take over committee chairmanships and run for higher offices. The Republicans do not have a clue as to how to play the political game. They let the Dems drag down the whole party with Foleygate which turned out to be all about nothing since Foley never broke any laws, while Jefferson with the $90,000 bribe money in his freezer wasn’t even censored and managed to get reelected . Surely there was something that could have been done to evict him from Congress and keep his malfeasance in the news. If they had voted to censor him at least the Dem defense of the defensless would have been in the news,. Not once did any Republican stand up for Newt Gingrich, Tom Delay or any other Republican leader falsely accused of misdemeanors, and they never even said “Everyone is presumed innocent until proved guilty.” In the mean time, they let the Dems sell their votes to the highest bidders, give our military technology to our enemies, loot federal programs, fund into perpetuity anti American NGOs , and tie up most of our valuable mineral rich lands in Federal Land trusts which can only be transferred to selected individuals by Dem. operatives imbedded in federal agencies via civil service laws. All this happened while the Reps controlled Congress. When they grow some balls and learn how to play like pros, maybe they will figure out how to get reelected. They were elected in 1994 to clean house. They proved they weren’t up to the job. The moral is Nice guys finish last. Because they act like WIMPS.

  12. ivehadit says:

The moral is that you can NEVER, EVER let a CLINTONITE into the highest office in the land. Ever. Our survival depends on keeping them out.

Shame on those who allowed themselves to be conned Nov. 7.

  13. mrmeangenes says:

Speaking as a “common-sense-a-tarian”, I’m not overly alarmed when a government undertakes to protect its people from clear and conspicuous danger.

That said, I’m not sure what “danger” an out-of-work princess posed to the commonweal !

  14. fiatlux says:

The SS was not spying on DI. The CLintons were running a check on Forstmann. Look at him. People are looking at the wrong target.

Forstmann was playing with a run for senate in NY, of all places and was a leading Bush contributor. Tapping him was equivalent of tapping money flows in RNC

If momdear1’s comments are correct, and I believe they are, it is too late to speak about survival!

Just look at what job the republicans have done in cleaning up Politics the last 6 years when they held all the reins of power and couple that with the report of the Group headed by former Secretary of State James A. Baker 3d and former Representative Lee Hamilton of Indiana and it is enough to make one realize that, sadly, survival is possible only for a very limited time period…..

  16. clarice says:

Mickey Kaus..secret service (no cpas) means US intel, not the Secret Service. Homeland Security denied the Secret Service bugged her.And since Forstmann was thinking of running against Hillary in 2000, personal politics seems to be the only motive I can think of.

So, this may be very troublesome for the CLintons and whoever worked with them to explain.

  17. Barbara says:

Since when did the Clintons ever explain anything?

  18. Barbara says:

    Except maybe what is “is”.

  19. MerlinOS2 says:

    ___________

Given Clinton’s other known choices, why would he break out of character and slip into the darkside of someone who was attractive physically.

I mean the man is a walking advertisement for Dog Day Afternoon for crying out loud.
