   Chinaman, the average Russian-I could go on-have never had the
   same conception of “freedom” that you have–and it seems to me,
   the “substantial conflict” of World War Two was conducted sans
   jihadists or “terrorists” of any kind, if you except the state terror
   committed at Dresden for example. By a ….”freedom-loving”
   nation no doubt.

   Ken, your commentary is moronic to me. You say we can “play them”? I see that as foolish talk. They have been the ones “playing” us. As we sit here and bicker about the best way to “handle” them, they make gains in Bangladesh, Thailand, Nigeria or Somalia. This is a global effort and they will be fighting for their global dominance of Islam long after you and I are both dead and buried.

   Their goal is simple, complete and total world domination even if it takes centuries to achieve. Their method is equally simple … submit or be die. They don’t care if they cut the heads off schoolgirls, as they recently did.

   No, YOU say we can play them -even defeat them -and you lament the Democrats and others who don’t seem to wish to play ,by your terms, rough enough. Completlely in favor of the Empire which has mobilized them angered them by having sundry bases strewn about
   in their regions, by overthrowing governments, by subsidizing
   US puppets, by giving Israel practical carte blanche.

   The younger demographic in America have also turned markedly against the war by the way.

   Your definition of “liberal rag” includes the AP news service and the American Conservative magazine, so back to your nap, senile boy.

   The 20% war approval rate of Bush included an appropriate
   distribution of young and old demographics. Maybe in your
   senile nostalgia you’d like to dragoon a few college kids off to the
   jungles again….
