Fake Terrorist Threat In Chicago
What kind of fool do you have to be to try and fake a terrorist threat on a train less than 10 days after one the the West’s worst terrorist attacks on subway trains in London (plus the bus of course)? Obviously this kind of fool:
A Chicago Transit Authority train operator was charged Friday with threatening to set off a bomb in a train terminal in an anonymous call.
Bilal A. Steward, 26, of Chicago made the call to the city’s 911 Center at 8:22 a.m. last Sunday and threatened to blow up the Kimball Line terminal on the city’s North Side, according to a complaint filed in U.S. District Court.
Robert D. Grant, special agent in charge of the Chicago office of the FBI, made the announcement, saying that Steward’s arrest “should send a clear message that hoax terror threats of any type will not be tolerated.”
Folks, stupidity can ruin your life. Don’t try this at home.
