Al Qaeda Sets Up Shop In Europe
For all those lefties wishing for Bush to lose in Iraq a wake up call has just been issued. The only question is whether this call will get through the BDS haze. The news is al Qaeda is setting up shop in Europe, which means attacks there like we see in Baghdad and Israel are probably soon in coming:
Pakistani militant groups linked to al Qaeda have established a “strong presence” in northern Spain, according to senior French and Pakistani intelligence officials, who expressed concern that Islamist extremists were establishing Spain-based cells to launch terror attacks on western Europe.
A top Pakistani intelligence official told ABC News that following a “crunch” by British counterterrorism authorities on Pakistani militant networks in the U.K. after the July 2005 bombings, “dozens of local leaders for groups, such as Jaish e Muhammad (‘Army of Muhammad’ in Arabic) and Lashkar e Tayyba (‘Army of the Pure’ in Urdu) moved to Spain,” settling in the area around Barcelona.
They have since established a very strong “rear base” in Barcelona to support terrorist activity in Britain, setting up logistics and recruitment networks in the local Pakistani community, the source said.
Make no mistake about it. The bulk of al Qaeda and the other Islamo Fascists are focused on Iraq. Thankfully. They are putting their efforts there because they know if Iraq is a democratic US ally they will have a serious danger in their midsts (not just on their flanks). But these animals also know they need to keep spooking the liberals and leftist media, so they are preparing to bring Jihad to the West.
Sadly this is the wrong move for them, but their bloodlust has never really allowed logic and strategy to get in the way of their actions. The EU will crumble in places where socialism and liberalism are strong. The eastern states that formally made up the Soviet block will not buckle but will stand up and fight, as will the UK. But be clear, the EU will split apart if they start seeing sustained attacks. The appeasers will buckle (again) and the rest will take on the challange.
According to several CIA reports leaked since 2004, the US occupation of Iraq was and is the CAUSE of greatly increased
jihad recruitment. If the US wished to do its part to decrease the terror threat in Europe-and here-it would vacate Iraq as soon as possible. The vehicle do to just that lies in the proposals of either
Feingold or Kucinich-Congress cutting off expenditures.
As far as AJ’s fantasy that Iraq can become “a democratic US
ally,”as Soothsayer was wont to ask, “whatcha’ been smokin?”
according to leaked CIA reports since 2004, the US invasion and occupation of Iraq was and is reponsible for significantly increased jihad recruiting and membership. Thus if America wished to help Europe reduce the threat, it would do its part by getting out of Iraq.
Best way, via Feingold or Kucinich’s proposals to defund the war.
And Iraq as a “democratic ally of the US?” Ain’t in the cards.
Ally of another spoke of the “axis of evil,” Iran, that’s Iraq’s
likely course.
The EU is not Europe per se, and Europe’s stance vis a vis
Islam and Islamic immigration in no way must mirror that
of America. An American blogger would do well not to merge
the two if he chooses to address problems related to Islam’s
particular antipathy to American foreign policy, which CIA
reports show fuels jihad recruitment.
These same reports show that American occupation of Iraq
has caused jihad recruitment to burgeon. The answer for America
would seem to be two-fold. Get out of Iraq using the Feingold
or Kucinich means of withholding war funding. And harden
our immigration policy while strengthening our domestic
means of self-defense against what then will be a DECREASED
level of jihad animus.
Europe needs America to exit Iraq to help diminish tensions
between Christian and Moslem in its nations. CIA reports
clearly show our occupation has fueled jihad membership
and anger worldwide. Feingold and Kucinich have the answer:
Congress should withhold funding for the war. America
should get out as quickly as possible.
Europe is endangered more by US continued occupation of Iraq, and the increased anger and recruitment of jihadists worldwide resulting.
Feingold and Kucinich have the answer:defunding the war.
Spain deserves everything they are geting for their cowardly response to their own bombings. They booted out the goverment and replaced it with a leftist socialist prime minister who kept blaming everuthing on the the previous one and the US. They are weak and they have more radical mosques than any country in Europe. Alqueda also considers Spain part of their so called califate.
lasso,
forgive me but you are delusional along with the people you mention.
like so many you don’t understand the conflict we are in. there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop what is coming. it was coming before iraq and will keep coming after iraq. the twin towers were just the last warning. we infidels have been warned. those who refuse to convert or submit will be killed. your silly belief in “more hugs” as a cure is akin to thinking iran doesn’t want a bomb or that there really is a tooth fairy or arafat really wanted peace. iraq is just the tip of the iceberg.
europe is toast over the next 20 years………1000 jihadiis can control a city of ten million by just rolling a few heads down the street. in virtually every mosque around the world jihad is preached on fridays, week in, week out, year after year. delusional folks such as yourself actually think islam is a religion of peace. in fact it is a murderous fascist political party that means to re-instate the caliphate worldwide plunging the world back to the 7th century all under sharia, all the while using religion as its cover. in a weird twist of history we are actually being plunged back into another crusade. i wouldn’t be surprised, when this one ends, if one of us no longer exists.
I wouldn’t be surprised, when this one ends, if one of us no longer exists.
Neither would I, Patrick. And if we allow people like Lasso to make the decision, it’s an easy guess as to which one it will be. Either way, though, we face some ugly times ahead.
It’s totally unrealistic to believe that we can simply sit back and do nothing. I am old enough to know that we ignored Islamic terrorism for decades. As a result, we got 9/11, an event of such magnitude, we could no longer ignore terrorism. Pushing the threat out of our consciousness can no longer be defended. We have to be proactive. Ignoring terrorism only leads to more of it.
