Al Qaeda Disappointed In Democrats

Published by at 10:08 am under All General Discussions,Iraq

Last year I posted 2006 The Democrat Contract With Al Qaeda to point out all the deadly positions the dems would take if elected. The one the Dems have been focused on since taking control is surrendering Iraq:

EVENTH, in an effort to demonstrate our sincere apologies for the actions of President Bush towards Al Qaeda, we plan to return the State of Iraq to the despot dictator of Al Qaeda’s choice by calling for the immediate withdrawal of our military forces to the safety of European soil. We encourage Al Qaeda to do what they please with the Iraqi people.

Bush is not budging and allowing this item to go forward, and the Democrats are too skittish to force the issue (so far). Senator Lieberman is the finger in the dike on this. He will switch parties if the Dems try and surrender, and there is no clearer indication that America is not into surrendering yet than the election in deep blue, democrat Connecticut. Well it seems Zawahiri and al Qaeda are getting a little fed up waiting on the Dems to fulfill their promises, at least that is their message in their latest tape:

Al-Qaeda’s No. 2, Ayman al-Zawahri, called for Muslim unity and said American elections that gave Democrats control of Congress would not change U.S. policy in Iraq, in a new audiotape released Tuesday by a U.S. group that tracks extremist messages.

On the tape, al-Zawahri said recent congressional elections in the United States that elected a majority of Democrats would change nothing.

“The people chose you due to your opposition to Bush’s policy in Iraq, but it appears that you are marching with him to the same abyss,” al-Zawahri told the Democrats according to the transcript.

Al-Zawahri called what he described as Bush’ failure in Iraq and the growing Taliban resistance in Afghanistan the “most important events” of the past year. He also said that “the people cooperating with the United States in Afghanistan and in Iraq would be abandoned by the Americans once they fail, the same way they did in Vietnam.”

The al-Qaeda leader also threatened that countries allied to the United states in the region “must reap their bitter harvest,” and specifically named Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Seems the Dems are not just letting down their anti-war critics, they are letting down America’s enemies. Zawahiri can only be wishing for Barack Hussein Obama to become President so he can surrender Iraq to al Qaeda. Wait, didn’t Australia’s John Howard just make that same observation? Also note the al Qaeda plans after Iraq – the rest of the Middle East and the world’s oil fields. Only a liberal anti-war activist would have the ‘foresight’ to think giving up all these countries to al Qaeda is sound policy. Personally, it looks like suicide.

This is just going to devastate the American leftist terrorists supporters.
Even when things were not looking too good for them with the Vietnam War, the American leftist terrorists supporters never were faced with losing the support of their key international backers.

Al-Zawahiri is a prophet. And when and if that happens, all those people, Democrats included, who pretend to gnash their teeth at the Iraq war, will obliviously go their way back into their self-aggrandizing Worlds, without a thought to the consequences of their actions. Many of them may become educators or prominent politicians. Precisely what happened after the Vietnam war.

If al Qaeda reads Strata, it loves this kind of “imperial hubris.”
    (Okay, thanks Mike Scheuer.)
And it would not have to quote out of context. Strata, like
Cheney and the ruling class oiligarchs truly believes the
Mideast belongs to America to give away.
An attitude which helps recruiting immensely.

Ever read the 2004 MSNBC poll of Iraqis, and several others,
from that early time period to the present? They indicate
as early as 2004 dominant majorities of both Sunni and Shia
were completely opposed to the occupation and approved of
insurgent attacks on it. Meaning there never were going to be
significant numbers of “cooperators” with the occupiers who
wouldn’t be taking their lives in their hands immediately by so doing.

    MSNBC?

    Oh, my, gosh.

    NOT a credible news source.

The credibility of the polls has been proven by events following, but if Cheney is in OJ Simpson denial about “progress” in Iraq,
    why wouldn’t be the Strata-ites?
