A.J., I cannot WAIT for your reportage. Just read a puker at Townhall. I dearly hope you can do something to offset this kind of delusional outbreak:

[SNIP] Viguerie said: “We’re putting the band back together,” and “We’re on a mission from God.”

AJ, Great Have Fun! Ask Them About this:

Conservatives are looking for someone to blame for the increases in government spending and the overall size of government over the last few years, and the Republican Party – which prides itself as the party of small government – is in the firing line.

“Republicans lost in 2006, because they deserved to lose,” said Michael Tanner, director of health and welfare studies at the Cato Institute.

“We’ve come a long way since Ronald Reagan said ‘government isn’t the solution, it’s the problem’ to a time when George W. Bush says ‘If someone is hurting, government has got to move,'” he said.

Speaking at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Washington, D.C., Thursday, Tanner noted that 55 percent of voters said they believe Republicans are the party of big government. “It’s sad to say they are right.”

“This Republican president, with the Republican Party [in power], has increased spending more than any president since Lyndon Johnson launched the Great Society,” Tanner argued.

Maybe someone there will have some ideas.

This too might bring some talk:

PHOENIX — Arizonans want a state law to allow those who cross the border illegally to be charged with trespass.

The new statewide survey shows that 65 percent of the 600 registered voters questioned support having a law that would allow state and local police officers to arrest border crossers.

Both were in the news today.

Maybe someone there can tell us how we will issue “Tamper Proof” ID’s to Illegals.
    Will we do background checks?
If so, what forms of ID will be accepted to establish who they are?
How will we process those Millions of people into the “Tamper Proof” ID system?
What Government Agency will be tasked with this?
How long do they expect this process to take?

Will this be corrected? U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) had lost track of 111,000 files in 14 of the agency’s busiest district offices and processed as many as 30,000 citizenship applications last year without the required files.
    If so HOW?

Will this be corrected? The FBI’s background check backlog for legal immigrant applicants stands at a reported 100,000 files, which have been waiting for action for a year or longer. At least they didn’t shred them all (uh, as far as we know) — which is what federal contractors did at the immigration center in Laguna Niguel, Calif., over the last several years. To rid itself of a 90,000-document backlog, supervisors ordered workers to destroy passports, birth certificates, approval notices, change of address forms, diplomas and money orders. Then they reported that they had reduced the backlog to zero.
    If so, HOW?

Will this be corrected? There are over 4,000,000 aliens now in illegal status, people who entered legally as tourists or students or temporary workers but did not leave when their visa expired. Our government has no reliable way to track our visa arrivals, to know when they leave or don’t leave, or to find them and deport them if they don’t leave.
    If so, HOW?

I’m Counting on you to get some answers.

Terrie, don’t read that, you will hurt yourself!

It seems most here are FOR being on OFFENSE when it comes to the War, Terrorists, etc. But most here want to be on DEFENSE when it comes to Illegal Aliens. Most here want to wait until they rob, rape, kidnap, and kill, before doing anything with them. Then it’s ok to deport them AFTER they have committed their SECOND (or more) crime. Then after deportation, because of our OPEN BORDERS, they come back again, and we start the process over again. My only point to this is, without Border Control, it’s a waste of time. I’d say most of the Aliens here are decent people. But deporting those who aren’t has NOT stopped them from returning and committing more crimes.

It’s too bad AJ doesn’t have time to answer the silly questions I and others ask. Like the ones I posted above in my previous post. I think they are all good common sense Questions.

I also have a new post in the one Terrie, Owl, Enforcement and others were in yesterday concerning The Republicans. You may wish to check that out too.
I have a lot to do today, so I won’t be back for several hours. But I’m sure I’ll see someone later I’d like to respond too!
