Reality Strikes Back On Global Warming
It seems we will finally begin to see the other side of the Global Warming debate come out to the public when a British documentary, airing Thursday, finally gives voice to all of us who find the ‘theories’ peddled by the “man causes global warming” crowd nothing more than unsubstantiated speculation.
The programme, to be screened on Channel 4 on Thursday March 8, will see a series of respected scientists attack the “propaganda” that they claim is killing the world’s poor.
Even the co-founder of Greenpeace, Patrick Moore, is shown, claiming African countries should be encouraged to burn more CO2.
Nobody in the documentary defends the greenhouse effect theory, as it claims that climate change is natural, has been occurring for years, and ice falling from glaciers is just the spring break-up and as normal as leaves falling in autumn.
Rush Limbaugh interviewed one of these contrarian scientists who used to be a leading climate scientist at NASA, Roy Spencer (see here and here). What was interesting (and correct in my opinion) was that Dr. Spencer was making the case that the greenhouse effect is not the dominant force on earth regarding climate. In fact, he pointed out that even without man’s impact the Green House effect is plenty powerful to heat the Earth, but it is actually evaporation which drives the planet (and recall 70+% of our planet is ocean). His views are, unlike the hysteric crowd claiming this is all humankind’s doing, are actually supported with measurements and experiments. The idea cooling through precipitation is the dominant force – not the green house effect which the cooling actually offsets – would literally turn the discussion on its head. Because what that would mean is increasing rain would do more to offset the warming trends than any reductions in Co2.
Wizbang reports that there will be a documentary aired in UK challenging Gore’s Global Warning as an unscientific study.
