Lots Of Supreme Rumors

Mark Coffey pointed us to the last minute rumor from Erik @ Redstate on Joy (Edith) Clement, and to Michelle Malkin’s magnificent round up on the latest rumblings. The fact so much is breaking might be an indicator that the announcement is soon.

I was hoping it would be Janice Rogers Brown, but I am sure there are so many qualified candidates that Bush doesn’t need to select from those he has already seated at the circuit and appeals court levels.

I should tout myself a bit because I did predict Bush would select a woman in order to retain the current numbers on the court [halfway down the post].

Erik’s ‘rumor’ is interesting in that he really is not backing it up very much. Maybe he will be digging more today. As will we all I gather. Hopefully the Plame story will now Pflame out….

Much of the speculation is being reported by the AP now.
