Democrats And Mad Mullahs

Published by at 7:19 pm under All General Discussions,Iran,Iraq

Anyone else feeling a sinking, sick and disgusted feeling when we see the Democrats trying to push for our surrender in Iraq along with Tehran using hostages and letters clearly written under theat of violence to achieve the same goal?

The Iranian hostage crisis took a sinister turn last night when Tehran withdrew an earlier offer to release one of the 15 captive sailors and marines and issued a second, strangely-worded letter in her name calling for Britain to withdraw from Iraq.

The letter, signed by Leading Seaman Faye Turney, the only woman in the naval crew seized last Friday, was addressed to “representatives of the House of Commons”. Although the letter was handwritten, it was stilted and lacked the personal tone of the first letter, sent to her family the day before. The second letter appeared to have been dictated to her.

“I ask representatives of the House of Commons after the government had promised this type of incident would not happen again why have they let this occur and why has the government not been questioned over this? Isn’t it time for us to start withdrawing forces from Iraq and let them determine their own future?

The sickening feeling is how well the Islamo Fascists are playing the naive and panicked liberals. The wording is not similar, it is nearly identical to statements made by leading democrats over and over again:

On their first full day in the leadership Friday, Reid and Pelosi made their priority clear when they sent their one-page, single-spaced letter to Bush, telling him, “No issue is more important than finding an end to the war in Iraq.

“In short,” the leaders wrote, “it is time to begin to move our forces out of Iraq and make the Iraqi political leadership aware that our commitment is not open ended, that we cannot resolve their sectarian problems, and that only they can find the political resolution required to stabilize Iraq.”

The Democrats are so deep into the thralls of their Bush hatred they cannot even register the warning sign of Islamo Fascist kidnappers using human hostages as pawns for the same goals and desires as the liberal wingnuts are spouting. If anyone in WW II had claimed it would be best to surrender Europe (and England) to Hitler, and then Hitler took hostages to echo that sentiment, it would have been the political kiss of death here in the US – especially after we had shed US blood to stop Hitler.

Things have not changed that much. Someone should ask Pelosi and Reid if they think their plans for withdrawal will APPEASE the kidnappers, and would they sanction their actions in the case US military persons were kidnapped and threatened? I would love to hear Pelosi try and dance around this one.

BTW, the Mad Mullahs have shown their willingness to kidnap people and threaten them to get their way. What does this tell us about how they would act with some nuclear weapons in hand and Iraq, Israel, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia within their reach?

Pelosi wouldn’t even bring up a letter from congress to say we support you England. If it were our guys, she would just blame Bush and say we deserve what we get. If the Dems get their way, are they going to sit on the side lines while the islamofascists swarm on Israel. They would say they were sorry, but in fact they would be gleeful that they didn’t have to deal with the problem. Where are our elected leaders who understand the consequences of failure. It would be catastrophic.

AJ, a few months ago I expressed a nagging feeling in my gut that the sh*t was about to hit the fan. I think we’re getting very close. I’m not as confident in Bush as you seem to be, but I’m reeeeeealy glad neither Gore nor Kerry is President. The Dems are so wrapped up in destroying this administration that they’ve lost sight of the true dangers we face (if they ever had sight of it in the first place). Scary times ahead!

The difference is that back then every city had at least two and sometimes more newspapers. They would not be able to get away with it back then. We now have a “lockstep” newspaper industry with only a handful of Republican leaning papers and no Republican leaning wire services or television or radio networks.

The people are just never going to see the Democrats being held to account for it because the people are never going to be made aware that it is even happened. The worst part is, most Americans don’t even care.

How about coining a new term, “Chamberlain Democrats”?

Retired — I agree completely. There’s a rising and dangerous confluence of anti-Americanism here at home (as if there wasn’t enough to deal with globally). Modern, elitist Libs dominate hollywood and college campuses, and along with the MSM and leftist dems are pressing their agenda full throttle. And they’re being fueled by rich leftists like Soros and transnational and socialistic organizations. Bloviating idiots like Rosie O’Donnell & Keith Olberman & Bill Maher & countless others spew their hatred and misinformation daily, often parroting the loons from the lefty blogs and MoveOn talking points. These people & their views are the minority, but with congress and activitist judges, and the indoctrination going on in schools, they wield much power. And they must be stopped because their agenda is the ruination of this country. Big, bloated govt, unrestrained entitlements, taxes on everything, regulations galore, weakened military, open borders, anti-Christian, anti-semitic, pro-porn, anti-life, anti-business, anti-liberty, … it really is scary.

Something just struck me. Maybe Rosie and Keithie are on the take from terrorist organizations/supporters (CAIR, and other ‘unnamed’ orgs) to spew this filth to the mind-numbed masses. Wouldn’t that be a fun ‘show trial’ investigation…. Hmmm. Nah. Couldn’t be. They are not that bright, but certainly that anti-American and soulless.

This is not new. I remember when Osama got up there before the election and sounded like he was endorsing Kerry. {Or someone that looked like him anyway}. In fact Kerry said later that it costs him the election. I doubt that. Kerry costs Kerry the election,

However, I do think that making this British sailor yak about Iraq makes it pretty obvious what the mullahs are up to.

As for Rosie and Bill and folks like that..I know I never listen to them and the people that do are by and large a lost cause. Because Rosie is stupid.
