Europe In Jihad’s Crosshairs
I meant to add this news to the post below on how the Muslim civil war between the modern states and the Islamo Fascists is heating up with today’s bombing of the Iraqi Parliament. The point of this is the spread of Jihad into the EU and how other Parliaments may soon become the victims of bombings:
242 jihadists, 31 attacks, 28 networks. After examining militant Islamism in Europe, researchers have found that self-recruitment is on the rise among terrorist leader Osama bin Laden’s Eurofighters, and that there is no such thing as a standard terrorist.
…
One of the most important findings of the Dutch study is that there are no standard jihadists. According to the researchers, the 28 networks they identified differ considerably from one another.
…
There are also few differences when it comes to goals and methods. Transportation systems were by far the most common targets, and in many cases explosives were the weapons of choice. The choice of specific targets was consistently perfidious: the plans were directed exclusively against civilian facilities or civilians themselves.
We had hoped to cripple al Qaeda by facing them down in Iraq and Afghanistan. But clearly some of their blood thirsty fanaticism has leaked out into Europe and elsewhere. There is no way to stem this tide by handing a win to al Qaeda. If the US backs down even a modest amount (and the Democrat surrender plans are anything but modets) then the dreams of a Jihad sweeping the world will be awoken across the globe and we will be in the fight of our lives. The truth is the EU problem is minimal because there is now stable base of operations in the ME outside Iran and Syria. And we must make sure even these havens are dealt with if we are to survive.
Major Update: It seems those al Qaeda linked terrorists responsible the bombing in Algiers are openly claiming to have people in Europea and targetting France:
he al-Qaeda-linked group that killed 33 people in Algiers yesterday has members in Europe and is targeting France, said French presidential candidate and former Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy.
“The principal menace to France comes from Algeria, from the GSPC network that has transformed into al-Qaeda,” Sarkozy said today in an interview with radio station Europe 1, referring to the former Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat, now called al-Qaeda of the Islamic Maghreb. “They have members in several European countries, including France.”
OK, this is from a candidate for President grandstanding to the voters, but it seems he is exposing some kind of real intel (so French of him to do that). So with a grain of salt we can assume there is some indication that these terrorists are so emboldened they have given warning to their victims. That would be a bad idea regarding the US, but dealing with the impotent France is a whole different story. More here on the Spring Offensive against Europe.
While MSM is focused on Iraq and Afghanistan because the US is there, to get a truer picture of the global war on terrorism, and what we face, MSM should also be talking about Algeria, Morocco, Thailand, Sudan and Somalia. Maybe they could put these monsters deeds into perspective.
Kathie,
How can you think that the MSM should talk about other countries when their Democratic alies in Congress just decided that using the term “global war on terror” is no longer acceptable?
Except for a few “fools” like you and me there is nothing about terrorists to worry about; just ask President Pelosi! /s
This article is both timely and on topic for this thread:
Alarm in Spain over al-Qaeda call for its “reconquest”
So is Spain going to give up Andalusia, like they have asked Israel to give up it’s conquered territories? Just asking.

Why not? Spain folded to the terrorists after the train bombings after all. My question is how can the liberals keep this same theory that there is no GWOT when their beloved Europe is now making noises that there is.

In Part I of this series I described how Islamic culture impedes the development of those skills and talents that facilitate entry into modernity by the young people of the Muslim world. The more stringently a Muslim country adheres to…
