Drudge Copying My Headlines?
Check out Drudge’s headline “Congress Gone Wild… Spring Break Taxpayer Style… ” and my headline “Congress Gone Wild On Spring Break” and ask yourself if there is not an aweful lot of coincidence there? Now, it is not hard for two people to see the same irony in this and I am definitely not making any claims on Drudge – just thought it was interesting. Great minds do think alike – just not sure what that has to do with Drudge and me!
I think everybody noticed the spendthrifts. It’s like they have been locked out of the gravy for so long and are now making hay.
One would like to think that the public would be outraged by these kinds of antics and take appropriate action in the next election. Sadly, few people are even aware of what’s going on, and the ones that are have short memories. I’d still like to see a grass-roots movement to vote out ALL incumbents in both houses for 3 straight election cycles, and then just start over. IMHO, the majority of Congress critters have forgotten who they work for.
Drudge did the same thing with a powerline headline awhile back, and they made mention of it too.
