Iran’s Results From UK Kidnappings
What did Iran get for the kidnapping of UK forces in international waters? More sanctions from the EU demanding they stop their marytrdom efforts with the nukes.
EU foreign ministers agreed to expand sanctions against Iran over its refusal to suspend its uranium enrichment program.
The approved sanctions go further than those already agreed by the UN Security Council, which imposed a partial arms embargo and a travel ban against people and organizations involved in Iran’s nuclear program.
The European Union agreed a total arms embargo, and expanded the travel ban list to include more individuals, whose assets in the EU will also be frozen.
I guess the threat of a nuclear 9-11 in the UK this week woke the folks up in Europe since they have gone beyond the requirements from the UN.
Update: I guess I should have mentioned the fact that the threat of a nuclear 9-11 by al Qaeda was based on intelligence which linked support coming from Iran for those threats. Iran is lucky their martyrdom wishes have not come true in the form of a rain of bombs on their nuclear facilities.
You might want to fix that close tag () in your UPDATE notification, AJ.
Thanks Aitch – fat fingers today.
