Jimmy Carter Tries Comedy
Jimmy Carter, who was THE WORST president of the country in the last 100 years, has decided to try his hand at comedy.
Former President Carter says President Bush’s administration is “the worst in history” in international relations, taking aim at the White House’s policy of pre-emptive war and its Middle East diplomacy.
Under Carter the economy tanked due to his liberal policies of gas price controls and taxes. If people ever had to pay mortgage rates in the 12% percent range they would understand what a total disaster Carter is and was. His high taxes ended up being Reagan’s historical tax cuts. But Carter is also known for lighting the flame of Islamo Fascism. His so-called handling of the Shah of Iran can be traced to 9-11. It was his befuddled responses that gave life to al Qaeda today. And if there is any doubt Carter is the worst one need go no farther than to note he (and Clinton) are the only Presidents in memory who have felt so insecure as to bad mouth other Presidents alive and dead. Classless to the end, eh Jimmy?
AJ – on this one I agree with you 100%. Carter was the worse. He gave us gas lines, price controls, double digit inflation, double digit interest rates and high unemployment, along with malaise and high taxes.
He also exhibited another left-wing thought process that all you need to do for terrorists is give them what they want and all will be fine. So he gave them Iran – an oil rich country as a base and took out the shah in a prime act of appeasement – then we had the embassy hostages, Lebanon civil war and American kidnappings, Hezbollah, etc – all sponsored by the the Iranian terror groups – I agree with you Carter’s appeasement was the root cause to much of what we see today in the ME.
In other words – Jimmy Carter was a good liberal – a very good liberal. He was not only the worst President but the worse liberal President which is his ultimate legacy. Something we should think about come 2008 when we weigh our choices.
Just Ignore Carter’s Foreign Policy Woes…
Who exactly did Carter liberate with his policies? Certainly it wasn’t the US hostages from the embassy takeover. Certainly it wasn’t the country of Afghanistan that suffered for years as a result of the Soviet invasion. He simply paid lip service to…
Equally tactless have been Carter’s attacked on the NSA surveillance program, especially given the fact that Carter’s own administration conducted warrentless wiretaps (Truong v. US).
Obviously I meant “attacks” not “attacked”.
