LA Times Targets Our Agents

Published by at 9:48 am under All General Discussions,Bin Laden/GWOT

The liberal mainstream media is a dangerous joke in this country. It is a joke because inbreeding in the hiring practices has left news rooms dominated by the naive liberals who cannot seem to grasp the most basic concepts of what they try to report on. And dangerous because this same inbreeding in staffing has the newsrooms brimming with addled BDS suffering idiots. Like the one who probably just put the lives of 50 or more CIA agents at risk, and for price of some profit margin:

A major CIA effort launched last year to hunt down Osama bin Laden has produced no significant leads on his whereabouts, but has helped track an alarming increase in the movement of Al Qaeda operatives and money into Pakistan’s tribal territories, according to senior U.S. intelligence officials familiar with the operation.

As part of a so-called surge in personnel, the CIA deployed as many as 50 clandestine operatives to Pakistan and Afghanistan — a dramatic increase over the number of CIA case officers permanently stationed in those countries.

There was no value in numbering or noting the upsurge of CIA agents in these countries. But if there is a new person in town asking questions everyone is now able to conclude that person could easily be a CIA agent, and that person’s life is now in danger. What is wrong with these people doing these stories? Are they so brain-dead and cold from greed they cannot fathom when a story is putting someone else’s life at risk? While these reporters sip latte’s in their cubicles someone is in Pakistan risking their lives to retain freedom of the press. And the thanks this person at risk gets is “hey guys, did you see those spies over there!”. The media is a dangerous joke. And it is not funny anymore. Really brave people were just targetted by corporate greed. The liberal kind.

  1. Soothsayer says:

    You can’t be serious.

You’re blaming the LA Times for printing what the government told them? Did you READ the story? The information came from “senior U.S. intelligence officials”, a “senior anti-terrorism official”, “senior U.S. military officials”, and “CIA spokesman Paul Gimigliano”.

If you’ve got a problem with someone talking out of turn, I suggest you blame the Bush Administration, which is in charge of the officials that were running their mouths. Of course, its true the Bush boys got a lot of practice outting CIA agent Valerie Plame – but if you want to blame someone – don’t blame the messenger – blame the big mouths who work for your idol – George the Incompetent, leader of all the Warpublicans.

If the idiots in the goverment want to keep something secret – I suggest they dont’ talk about it to the media.

    Duh.
