Islamists Versus Islam Continues
We see it throughout the region of the Middle East. The Islamo-Fascists are attempting to take power. They spent a lot of blood and energy on Iraq, but slowly the tide is turning against the Islamo-Fascists (despite the unending pessimism of the SurrenderMedia):
The sectarian slaughter has dipped slightly in Baghdad, but is up dramatically outside the city, according to AP tallies compiled from hospital, police and military officials, as well as accounts from reporters and photographers. The figures are considered only a minimum, and the actual number is likely higher, as many killings go unreported or uncounted.
The positive ledger is largely a list of sustained, but possibly superficial, blows against Iraq’s resilient armed factions.
Thousands of militants – Sunni insurgents, al-Qaida fighters, Shiite militiamen – have been killed or captured. Each day, U.S. forces find or destroy big weapons caches.
But the biggest surprise – and current source of hope to gain the upper hand – has been the American opening to homegrown Sunni insurgents in Baghdad and surrounding areas as proxy fighters against factions inspired by al-Qaida.
U.S. commanders are following a trend born in the western Anbar Province, where U.S.-led forces have armed and trained Sunni groups. There, the Sunnis first took their cues from tribal elders angered by al-Qaida’s extreme violence and Taliban-like strictures.
An extra enticement came later: a promise of a regular, paying, police job in the future.
Contrary to reporting, the surge is working. It is clearing and holding strongholds, and coralling the Islamo-Fascists into smaller enclaves like Diyala where we surround them and can take them out. The US and Iraq are sending forces to Diyala to clean up the last large enclave (there are smaller ones in other nearby provinces), and it is doubtful that al-Qaeda and its fascist allies can sustain their efforts.
The newly formed Diyala Operations Command in Baqouba reported today that Soldiers assigned to 2nd Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 5th Iraqi Army and Coalition Forces from the 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry killed five anti-Iraqi forces, wounded eight and arrested 15 others during operations throughout Baqouba, June 12.
The engagement in Old Baqouba also netted two caches and a vehicle borne improvised explosive device.
Anti-Iraqi forces engaged Iraqi Army and Coalition Forces Soldiers with small arms fire from a building before a Coalition Forces attack helicopter team, armed with Hellfire missiles, engaged the AIF and destroyed the building they were firing from.
Small arms against attack helicopters. This is what the Islamo-Fascists have to muster. They did blow up four bridges around Baghdad, but this barrier is a two-edged sword. It makes movement across the rivers impossible. As a show of force it was un-impressive.
The fighting in Lebanon and inside the Palestinian areas bordering Israel is also part of the Islamo Fascists’ effort to find a win. In Lebanon the fascists were deteced in Palestinian refugee camps and engaged before they could act.
It is only in Gaza that we see the possible signs of a small victory, as Hamas (an up and coming fascist arm of Iran’s terrorist army in the region) took control of Gaza. Hardly a big win given Gaza is more of a drain of resources than a fountain. But how long will the people there suffer the brutality and dictates of the fascists?:
Welcome to the new Islamic Republic of Hamas-stan, where every Palestinian woman is obliged to wear the veil and all traces of corrupting Western influences, from pop music to internet cafés, are strictly banned.
The creation of a mini Islamic state in Gaza now appears the most likely outcome as the militant Palestinian group Hamas strikes against the more secular-minded government of President Mahmoud Abbas.
This is not a good turn of events, but it is not the end of civilization either. Hamas has ties to Iran and Iran is training their militants:
Hamas makes no secret of the fact that it now receives most of its financial and military support from Iran. The Iranian government signed a memorandum of understanding with the Hamas leadership in June last year, in which it agreed to fund the militant group to the tune of £400 million.
Until then, most of the Palestinian Authority’s funding came from the EU and America, but this dried up when Hamas came to power and refused to give up its long-standing policy of seeking Israel’s destruction or to renounce its terrorist past.
In addition to financial support, Iran provides training to members of the military wing of Hamas by sending them to camps in Lebanon and Iran run by the elite Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards.
Iran said the clock was ticking on Israel. It is clear that the plan was/is to activate Hammas inside Gaza and Lebanon to capture regions and divert resources. My guess is Hezbollah might start up next and everyone needs to watch Syria. Combined US and Israeli military training exercises tells me the fascists are going to get a serious bloody nose (if not more). The US has not unleashed its fearsome airpower yet. But we have an incredible force in the area, which includes two large carrier groups. I think the fascists will make their move this summer. And the US will give them a reminder of why we have the world’s strongest military as a deterrent.

Pentagon report shows US surge’s abject failure–and AJ, get used to it. Iran will not be countered and will get the bomb.
