I am not familiar with Ron Paul's theories since I am not involved in "Right Wing" political action activities, but I am familiar with the Battered spouse psychological thing. And anyone who has studied how victims are completely controlled by someone who abuses them and threatens their very existance, and are unable to get themselves out of their horrible situation, can see that our whole country is cowering before this bunch of third world religious fanatics who can say anything about anyone or anything, yet, God Forbid anyone to criticise them or their cause. The few who dare stand up to them are instantly demonized, ridiculed, and labeled some kind of "phobe." with the majority of the country going along, if not actually involved in the dirision. Our country has accepted this situation as right and fitting because whatever is done to us, they think we have it coming. What you people dont' realize is that the vast majority of Move On's affiliated organizations are run by people with advanced degrees in psychology. They are the militant radicals who organized the student demonstrations in the 60's. They burned buildings, bombed, burned, and attacked the police , tried to overthrow the government. When their Revolution failed, the fell back, regrouped, and came up with this new plan. I know them. I worked with them for 5 years. You may not want to buy into a conspiracy theory, but believe it or not. These people are conspiring to do our government in. And they have the big bucks to back them since their Wahabbi buddies are wallowing in petro dollars and our government is handing out cash grants to anyone who comes with his palm up.

The only way these people could remain "student demonstrators" was to stay in school. Hence they have Masters and Doctorate degrees. They know how to organize, publicize, bend and shape people's attitudes. The only way to stop them is to stand up to them and confront them. Until enough of our people get enough backbone to do it, they are going to continue to mouth their inane, crazy theories which place the blame for everything on the victims.

I like this from theAnchoressonline.com:

“Peace on Earth to men of Goodwill - to people of Goodwill”
"People of Good Will are the people who take another person at face-value, who do not immediately label, categorize and quickly shelve those they encounter based on their perceived income, politics, philosophy or appearance. People of Goodwill give the other guy the benefit of a doubt, they choose to receive another person with the expectation that that person is someone worthy of respectful attention and friendly regard - until that person proves otherwise."

We are waaaay past the democrats proving otherwise....

Crosspatch, that is an excellent post. I am going to save it to my files. Says it all.

The democrats are bankrupt. They sold their souls to the clintons, et al 20 years ago and they are reaping what they have sown. And you can make bet that they, having read this thread, will twist and spin, throw mud, cast aspersions onto republicans using our words to deflect from themselves. It's what they do. Yes, they are truly sick. And that is the filter through which they see the world-their pathology/dysfunction. And it is dangerous.

CP:

I know just what you mean. Both parties have people like that, but it seems the Democrats are much more single minded in their pursuit of power and because of that much more willing to do anything to win.

There are certain issues I can agree with the Democrats on, but it seems to me that when the Clintons won control of the party something was lost in terms of civility and ethics. Moynihan and Nunn were Democrats I could respect and both men had principles. So that even when I disagreed with them, I never doubted their integrity.

Sounds like Ron Paul, he has said much the same thing and there are right wing Republicans out there who love him.

I remember his blowback remark at one of the debates.

Ellison is using the time honored psychological method of discrediting his enemy (George Bush and the non Muslim American People ) . This method is taught in our left leaning, Wahabbi funded and controled colleges. It all boils down to The Battered Spouse Syndrome. Why does a battered spouse stay? Because before the spouse is battered she is completely demoralized by constantly being berated and blamed for everything that goes wrong. By the time the real battering starts she thinks she is completely worthless, bad and everyting is her fault, and if she just tried harder things would be better. Just like the American people and government have been blamed, and about half have accepted responsibility for the terrorist attacks agains us by Islamic Terrorist maniacs. Can anyone dispute, that most Americans think we are hated, and were attacked repeatedly during the 90's and on 9-11, because of the way we have treated citizens of other countries in the past. Long before the attacks began, our people were constantly bombarded with dirision, criticism, blame for everything, "you're bad" Your government is bad becauswe your founders owned slaves." "Your ancestors were thieves, murderers, dishonest and coniving. they stole the land and genocided the natives." This has even been taught in our public schools until most of our children are ashamed to be white and Americans. If any other group had suffered the abuse and ridicule that our white children have endured in the public schools it would be called child abuse. But because they are white, America accepts it and believes they deserve it because we all have accepted this guilt trip, that white America is bad, we have earned whatever abuse is meted out, and we hang our heads in shame and cower like frightened women, while the likes of the child murdering Islamic monsters proudly hold severed heads high and proclaim that what they have done is good because the did it for Allah, are true heroes and worthy of adulation and respect.

America is on it's knees, begging for forgiveness for past, real and imagined, sins, and afraid to stand up for and support it's history and proud achievements, or protect it's children from ridicule and abuse, It isn't any wonder that a deranged religous fanatic ,who was elected to Congress because we have been so mentally destroyed by constant verbal abuse, that we allowed millions of our enemies to immigrate here under the guise of being refugees , and then their elected representive would publicly say that our President was responsible for 9-11. After all we have accepted the responsibility for every other evil thing in the world. Why not 9-11?

If someone would stand up to a piece of crap like Ellison and tell him that he only represents the people in his district who think like him, and the rest of us could care less what he thinks, and stop giving him a forum to preach is hate and delusions to the entire country as if what he says is credible, , maybe, just maybe, we might be able to convince that 50% or more who have accepted this guilt trip that we really do have enemies who will say and do anything to defeat us and subject us to dhimmitude, serving them as their slaves. As long as what Ellison says is treated as if it had merit, or might possibly be true, there is going to be a lot of people who believe it because neither it, nor the person who said it, has not been challenged .

It's the Batter Spouse Syndrome. We are bad. We did it. We had it coming. We caused it by our actions. If we would just try harder, maybe things would be better. Wake up.

"Or else he will have sold his religion for partisan gain."

THAT is the problem with the Democrats. They have no scruples. EVERYTHING is for partisan gain. Politics is their ultimate value and trumps everything else. They don't care HOW many GIs are killed, if they can use those deaths to make Bush look worse, all the better for them. They just have no core values that trump politics. I believe they would not only sell their own religion down the river, they would see their own family, friends, and community die if it furthered them politically by making the Republicans look bad.

It isn't so much that I don't share the Democrats' positions on issues because that can be discussed and debated. It is that I see the Democrats as horrible human beings who would say the most vile things (RE: todays comments on Roberts' seizure, for the latest example) and allow the security of their own community to be compromised for partisan political gain.

The Democrats are simply sick, cynical, and can not be trusted at a human level. They might support a notion today but turn their back on it tomorrow if it is politically expedient to do so (witness war support before the invasion and immediately after when as soon as troops were committed, they criticism started).

Lieberman is the only one I have seen so far with moral convictions that trump politics. The rest of them aren't worth a pinch of scat.
