Rounding Up Bombers
I hate CCTV’s eeing everywhere and seeing everything, but I am beginning to think they have a real value now that we see how fast the bomber’s from last week’s botched London attack are being rounded up.
Three women were escorted by police from the property in Stockwell, South London, which neighbours said was the home of one of the two bombers who have not yet been officially identified.
Scotland Yard confirmed that three women had been arrested on suspicion of harbouring offenders.
Neighbours identified the man who lived there as the bomb suspect seen in CCTV pictures at Westbourne Park Tube station. The electoral roll names the occupant as Girma Yeshi, which one neighbour said “sounds familiarâ€.
The film showed a man with a rucksack at the Underground station shortly before a bomb was left on a westbound Hammersmith and City Line train.
A second picture of the suspect was released by Scotland Yard yesterday showing that after fleeing from Shepherds Bush Tube station he discarded his England football team shirt and caught a bus to Wandsworth wearing dark trousers and a white vest.
Here are the pictures
