Well, it only took the Thanksgiving Holiday for the Surrendercrats to realize they really “Scrooged” our brave men and women on the front lines of the war efforts Congress itself authorized – by overwhelming majorities – when they went on vacation and without funding their needs and protections. It was one of the most crass moves in the history of this country. The Democrats played politics with the lives of our military in a time of war. Scrounging for votes is no reason to leave our forces hanging and to give hope to an enemy on the verge of total collapse.

The pressure on the Dems from their idiotic mistake must have been intense as they realized families across this nation lowered their heads in prayer for our fellow citizens fighting on the front lines, all the while knowing the Dems could not muster even a grudging effort to do THEIR part in our war efforts. It must have been intense because the jackasses have folded again on the Iraq war funding:

Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin said Democrats won’t cut funding for U.S. troops in Iraq even as attempts to set a goal for a withdrawal are blocked by Republicans.

“We’re going to fund the troops,” Levin, a Michigan Democrat, said today on the “Fox News Sunday” program. “No one’s trying to undercut the military.”

Bull crap. The dems have been using our troops in harms way as a political football for years now. But after all their sacrifice and the amazing turn around we have seen in Iraq the Dems couldn’t give thanks, they just said “Scrooge You!”. The Dems don’t want the troops to win, they have made that clear over and over again. If the troops win the Dems are doomed politically, which is why they are all “Scrooge” and no “Thanks, we support you”.
