Thank you, Whippet. I can only hope that more than just you understood the significance of it.

Big Lizards has a post up about Obama's sneaky conniving rise to his present office. He challegned the names on his opponents' petitions in his state senator race until he was the only one running for the dem nomination and general and somehow in the Illinios senate race the press sued and a judge approved that that opponent's sealed divorce was opened to the public. In the general election for Illinois senator the press also somehow went before a jjudge and his divorce papers were also unsealed.

Now comes McCain pulling out of the public funds deal. The FEC says they will vote on this. Unfortunately they don't have a quorum. A democrat and republican are nominated together for this committee but Obama put a hold on the republican. If the FEC votes against McCain pulling out then since he has already spent 40 million plus then he would have to go dark after 50 million which is the limit if accepting public funds. Obama did not ask for public funds so he can spend unlimited funds. What is there about this that represents change in democrat politics? Sounds like the same kind of stuff. If you czn't win by vote then win by trickery.

An appalling and horrible thing
         Has happened in the land:
The prophets prophesy falsely,
         And the priests rule on their own authority;
And My people love it so!
But what will you do at the end of it?

Jeremiah 5:30-31

Obama's family is African-Muslim. He is trying to make a connection to Arab-Muslims in America. Like the black-Muslims who are being killed by Arab-Muslims in Darfur. Get it? I don't either!

So what am I missing here...
If he's primarily African then why is his name so "Arab?"

The Obama campaign gets irate when his middle name is used? Like the American public isn't smart enough to recognize that Barack Obama isn't your typical african-american name? Who needs the middle name - we've figured out the heritage from the parts of his name they are using...

And if he's primarily african and is a devoted Christian rather than a Muslim, then why are his current and past associations filled with the Farrakkans, the Syrian Rezko and the Nation of Islam?

>I still fail to get the connection Obama was trying to make between himself and Arab families being rounded up? He is an African, not an Arab

That's where you are wrong.

Of all his great-grandparents.. only ONE of them is African.. the rest of his father's ancesters ARE Arab.

http://kennethelamb.blogspot.com/2008/02/barak-obama-questions-about-ethnic.html

"That means that Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side. He is 43.75% Arabic, and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side."

Obama is just playing to that lefty persecution complex thing. America is always rounding people up as far as they are concerned.

After all, 1 in 100 Americans are locked up for something, that is true.

I think the sort of thing that might do Obama in is Rezko and state politics in Illinois. There might be something really fishy there.

As for his middle name. I think McCain did the right thing distancing himself from that Cunningham guy making an issue of that. Democrats are always seeing themselves as victims of some kind of prejudice. That is what this is all about: prejudice. Obama is trying to let those Arabs and Muslims out there know that he gets how they feel, he too has been a victim of prejudice.

I know I got sick of this stuff right away. Whenever some screeching woman was hollering "I love you" at this man and he smirked and said 'I love you back"... I thought there was something downright bizarre about the whole damn thing. I still do.

I can not believe I am saying this, but I hope Hillary pulls it out.

You referred to next Tuesday...so you think Hillary will make a comeback? There were talks about Hillary being forced to drop out after Tuesday if she loses TX and OH.

Her husband thinks that if she wins OH, she will emerge as the front-runner for the nomination.

Doesn't look like either one will get all of the delegate votes by convention - forcing the superdelegates to decide the nomination.

So it will be a fierce fight until convention to buy the superdelegate votes but if they see that Obama's losing momentum, then they may switch back to Hillary by August.

Nope, Hillary's staying.

Anyone read this <a href="http://www.andrewbostom.org/blog/2008/02/28/obama-apostasy-and-ahmadinejad%e2%80%99s-iran/" rel="nofollow">Obama, Apostasy, and Ahmadinejad’s Iran</a>

Even if he declares himself as a "Christian", his relationships with countries like Iran would be problematic.

This is complicated by his connections with Jeremiah Wright, Farrakhan, Rezko, Auchi, etc.

As for McCain, I think he'll get all of the delegate votes he need to get the nomination by next week. Huck is out.

Oh, saw a blurb that Chuck Hagel may join Obama's cabinet...
