		<description>Heh - this is off-topic for this post, but Dan Rather today just saw his lawsuit against CBS eviscerated.  This is the suit that weirdly claimed that CBS was in collusion with the Bush administration to make him look bad, or something like that.  (no, the claims never did make any sense)

Although the suit wasn&#039;t dismissed entirely, 

&quot;A lawyer for the defendants, lead outside counsel James Quinn, said: &quot;We are very pleased with this. The rest is what we consider a garden-variety contract dispute.&quot;  Quinn told CBS News&#039; legal analyst Andrew Cohen that the contract issue left relates to &quot;Whether or not we &quot;benched&quot; him and whether he had sufficient time on 60 Minutes and 60 Minutes II after he stepped down as the anchorperson.&quot; 

There was also a link to an audio interview with Quinn in which he stated that he believes the rest of case will be dismissed in summary judgment in a few months.</description>
