When Will The Media Stop Killing Americans?

Published by at 12:47 pm under All General Discussions,Bin Laden/GWOT,Iran

It is crap like this that has put the liberal news media on the same level as a rotting cesspool (full of decaying you-know-what):

Clandestine operations against Iran are not new. United States Special Operations Forces have been conducting cross-border operations from southern Iraq, with Presidential authorization, since last year. These have included seizing members of Al Quds, the commando arm of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and taking them to Iraq for interrogation, and the pursuit of “high-value targets” in the President’s war on terror, who may be captured or killed. But the scale and the scope of the operations in Iran, which involve the Central Intelligence Agency and the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), have now been significantly expanded, according to the current and former officials. Many of these activities are not specified in the new Finding, and some congressional leaders have had serious questions about their nature.

Seymour Hersh (aka, see-more-worst) is a traitor. He has exposed American who are in vulnerable positions as ordered and agreed to by the President and Congress – as he himself admits:

Late last year, Congress agreed to a request from President Bush to fund a major escalation of covert operations against Iran, according to current and former military, intelligence, and congressional sources.

That makes the actions legal, and Hersh’s exposure of these actions the act of a cowardly traitor. And those in Congress and the government who took oaths to protect this nation and its people are the worst kinds of traitors of all. Hersh is a wildly fantasizing ideologue with no such oath binding him. He is a pawn of those in power who did take oaths and KNOW the cannot speak publicly, or else be in violation of those oaths. So they use the gullible Hersh to perform their crime and cover for them.

That cesspool called ‘the press’ is getting to smell awfully ripe. Time to clean it out and star new.

“Seymour Hersh (aka, see-more-worst) is a traitor.”

True, but the idiot who informed Hersh is right up there with him. My guess is it would have been a congressional Democrat. Democrats don’t seem to mind if our soldiers die if it gets them elected. They are simply despicable.

CP et al Glad to see that you found my favorite word [despicable]. For most instances it can be used interchangeably with the word Democrat. The few like Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman are obvious exceptions…

…….and these idiots complain that the President is so “secretive”, I wonder why? Maybe Hersh thinks that this disclosure is right up there with Plame, you know the gal who traveled through D.C. every day to go to work.

  4. crosspatch says:

Well, there is one blessing. It is, after all, Hersh. Hersh has a history of fantastic stories citing anonymous sources describing secret operations that have never gone anywhere past his article on the subject. He is an idiot and everyone knows it.

The Iranians are also threatening to shut off oil supplies. A report like this will not only get people killed, it will only make the markets that much more jittery. No good can come of it. One thing about it, the Congress was apparently in on this so they can not scream about it.

    Traitor is as traitor does.

    They don’t care.

  9. Neo says:

Is Sey Hersh a “dup” in a disinformation operation designed to make the Iranians a bit twitchy as they go looking for an American over every sand dune ?

They don’t have as much time to disrupt Iraq when they’re busy looking over their shoulders at home.

Are you people so naive that you actually don’t think Iran is already aware of these operations? The article references “seizing members of Al Quds, the commando arm of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.” Do you honestly think that the Iranian government read the New Yorker articel this morning and said “so that is where all of those missing Reviolutionary Guards have been.” Use your common sense – Iran is obviously aware of these special operations and has been for some time. I know you conservatives are always looking for an “enemy” that is going to destroy your way of life so you have something to be afraid of (liberals, the media, gays, Saddam, etc), but come on.

  11. Neo says:

What “you people” are you referring to .. you racist.

  12. BarbaraS says:

If Iran is so aware of these operations how come they haven’t said anything about them? They surely have spouted all kinds of rhetoric trashing and denouncing America and Israel for perceived sundry insults. Why would they omit this knowledge from the media who so loves them? What liberals need to do is think about the end results after the first idea they get. There are repercussions to every action.

  13. conman says:

Neo, the “you people” I was referring to is AJ and all of the others on this post who agreed with his silly assertion that Iran was not aware of these operations until it read Hearsh’s article. Not sure why you would call that “racist”, but I’ll caulke it up to the ole debate strategy that if you can’t effectively counter an argument attack your opponent .

BarbaraS, there are many reasons why Iran would not want to publically admit that these covert operations were taking place in Iran. The number one reason is that there is nothing they can do about it and the Iranian leadership would look weak if they publically admitted it and could do nothing about it. Have you thought for a second about the fact that Iran has yet to make a big public deal out of Hersh’s article? Two days later, the article is fresh in the public domain ripe for Iran to make a big spectical about it and denounce America, and yet there is virtual silence from Iran on this issue. Why don’t you think about that fact and continue to think about it over the next couple of days and weeks when Iran continues to essentially ignore it and then maybe you will understand the fallacy of your point. You might also find it ironic that your statement that “What liberals need to do is think about the end results after the first idea they get” actually applies to you in this instance.

I also noticed that you never answered the obvious question I posed – how could Iran not be aware of this operation when it has resulted in the capture of it own military people. Seriously, do you honestly think they have been sitting around for months trying to figure out why their elite Revolutionary Guard keep disappearing and then they finally figured it out when Hersh’s article came out? Puuulease!
