I have stood on my head and crossed my eyes and the creases won't disappear. There is always a line no matter what I do. I figured there was a secret to getting it to do that. I guess not.

Sue, if you press down in the middle the middle fold will flatten. It really depends on the scanner type. The one I have quite easily removes all creases.

Besides - it is possible it was fold many more times since the scan.

AJ,

How did they scan the creases out of the document? I ask because I have to scan documents at work and the creases always show up. I would like to know the trade secret. If you look at the photos provided at fact check, those are some pretty heavy creases and on the Kos and FTS site, they don't show up. Anytime I scan something with creases in it, you can see the lines.

It’s the lying.
“I was never a Muslim” - yes you were
.

Obama was recorded as having been a Muslim when he started at the Catholic school in Indonesia, but it was impossible for him to have been one because he was far too young to have the understanding that is required to consciously become one.
.

His father wanted him to be taught about the Muslim religion, which is why he was classified as Muslim on the school form, but no one becomes a Muslim until they make an informed decision about it. Barack was 9 years old when he returned to Hawaii so he was not old enough to make that informed decision by the time his Muslim studies had finished.
.

The perhaps more interesting bit are legal papers that he filed with the Illinois Supreme Court Licensing Authority

Asked for former names: none
he puts,
Clearly not true.
.

If U.S. citizens adults change their name (on U.S. soil) either with legal paperwork or informally, then the new name becomes their legal name (in the U.S.) but ONLY if they use the new name exclusively, so if young Barack was not exclusively using his parents' name of Soetoro, then under U.S. law he was still Obama.
.

That exclusivity would not, and should not, and probably could not exist while young Barack was a U.S. citizen in a foreign land with a U.S. passport because he could not leave Indonesia on his original 'Obama' passport, so he was "known as" Soetoro, rather than actually being Soetoro.
.

In any case, Indonesian law (even if it was identical to U.S. law in relation to name changes) had no bearing on his status in U.S. law unless special U.S. paperwork was prepared for him in Indonesia, so in my opinion Obama told it like it really WAS in law.
.

I’d like to see the papers filed in the 50 (7 missing)
states that Barry filed to get on the primary ballots.
.

Knock yourself out. I'd put my money on my own opinion and that of a Constitutional lawyer.
.

It’s the dual citizenship thing.
.

It's not. It was impossible for Obama to have been an Indonesian citizen because he wasn't in the country long enough.
.

If he was a Republican candidate, the New York Times would be going on a holier-than-though rampage. So because he is a
Democrat, we have to hope bloggers like “cult leader” Texasdarlin give us the information we need.
.

I'd back the NYT over an know-nothing loud mouth like TD.

"He had a step-father who was Indonesian, doesn’t change his US Citizenship. His step father used is last name when registering his step son - doesn’t change a thing."

Indeed. Since his mother was a US citizen and he was born on US soil, even IF his stepfather adopted him, (which there's no evidence of), it didn't end Sen. Obama's US citizenship. Especially since his mother didn't give up her parental rights.

TXD's latest "evidence" is over two years old. You can't tell me nobody double-checked to make sure all the i's were dotted and the t's crossed. Sen. Clinton's campaign would have if nobody else.

I think "TechDude" running away put sugar in the tank of the Cult of the COLB, and now they're sputtering and seizing up.

Wot? No link? How covenient for your arguement.
I just tried the link. It works fine. Here it is:
http://www.daylife.com/photo/01u33pL9Ns06D

Actually, it is your good self that can tolerate no dissenting
opinions on, admittedly, your blog. Putin would approve.
Once you issue an edict, say on Polonium, if anyone doesn't
fall into line, they begin to become the objects of slander and libel.
Whatever the subject, immigration, Obama, Polonium, you take
no prisoners. Your debaters become "deranged".
Fact: There is no cult like behavior in the readers of texasdarlin.
Cult behavior has three phenomena:
Absolute submission to the will of a charismatic personality,
A removal of contact with the outside world,
Acceptance of severe punishment for attempting to leave the cult.
Those people just think they have found evidence that Obama is
a Manchrian candidate. So do I and I thought that before I ever met TD.
So what?
If they're wrong, then the issue will fade.
If they're right, then they have done us a big service.
Why should you be all like that?
I'd rather lose my credibility on one blog than ignore something
instinctively obvious in order to be "liked".
I don't know when I became part of the group "you folks".
I just didn't immediately agree with you.
Most of the world did not agree with you about Litvenenko and Polonium.
I guess they became part of a different "you folks".
That's the way it is sometimes.
Lonely Messiah Syndrome.
One suggests that you lighten up.

BTW - just because his step fathered claimed he was Indonesian and under his last name to get him into a local school means nothing. That was probably a smart parental lie to get your kid into the school of your choosing

He had a step-father who was Indonesian, doesn't change his US Citizenship. His step father used is last name when registering his step son - doesn't change a thing.

You folks have truly lost your minds. And no serious thinking person is going to give you an ounce of credibility.

Congratulations - you let your Obama Derangement Syndrome destroy your own credibility while Obama dodges real issues of concern. In this battle even the loser Obama comes out looking better than you folks.
