Palins To Be Grand Parents!

Published by at 12:19 pm under 2008 Elections,All General Discussions

Congratulations to the Palin’s and their daughter as she embarks on the path of parenthood. It is a tough but rewarding journey.  This is a day for congratulations and well wishing – something the sewer-lurking liberals don’t get in their raw lust for power.

Addendum: As many have noted today, and will for a while to come, in the Palin family a pregnancy is cherished miracle of life. From what Obama has said, in his family a pregnancy is punishment. Pretty clear values there, and no interpretation needed from the media or spin doctors – we get it.

This kinda shoots down the Kos story, they seemed to be so sure of. This didn’t hurt Kos’ cred tho, they didn’t have any.
But this kind of situation wouldn’t bother the lefties though, they’d probably just tell her to quietly kill the baby so it wouldn’t cause adverse publicity.

No, no, if she aborted the baby they would trash her for not adhering to her principles. In this situation they will trash her for keeping the baby and marrying. You can’t win with the dems. They can change their minds on a moments notice. Their motto is whatever works never mind if what they say now contradicts what they said five minutes ago.

Good luck to the Palins. It’s hard to raise teens in this day and age and it seems to be the going thing not to marry when pregnant. Illegitimacy is nothing nowadays.

It’s too bad that the dems and the media won’t respect the privacy of republican candidates’ children yet expect us to respect the privacy of the dems’ candidates. Double standard, anyone?

McCain comes out the big winner here. He knew her daughter was pregnant, but still offered her the number 2 slot. I have to believe he went against his political advisers on this. His decision will raise him up in the eyes of most.

As to the Palin family, this is the perfect example of how to deal with this. They didn’t leave her at home to punish her, they rallied around her as a family, and will no doubt welcome the young father into the family as well.

Thank God this is Palin’s child who is pregant and not Obama’s. Since he (the One who was born to a teenage mom) has publicly stated that he wouldn’t want his daughter “punished with a baby,” we who value life welcome this child regardless of when the life was conceived and even how this might impact one’s image, reputation, or life plans.

The contrast could not be more clear. The Kos kids and the Obama-bots think keeping this baby is a knock against a pro-life, traditional values candidate. On the contrary, lovingly supporting a child who has made a mistake is as pro-family, life-affirming, and compassionate as one can get.

Believing that teenagers are hormone-controlled animals who simply need to be taught how to avoid consequences instead of teaching self-control is playing to the lowest common denominator. Encouraging the devastating choice of abortion as a quick fix is perhaps the most selfish, barbaric, and loveless act permitted by law today.

The Palin’s will treasure this child. Obama sees this child as a punishment that should be aborted. Which is the leader worth my vote?

Congratulations Palins, and may God use this experience to sensitize our nation and the world to the value of life.

The Democrats think this will make Palin harder to elect. I am not so sure about that. I think this is the kind of situation average families face every day. It just makes her and her family more human.

Democrats think this will hurt Palin because they believe in a ridiculous caricature of religious voters. Faith doesn’t mean troubles don’t happen; it simply guides how one deals with the troubles of life when they do happen, since they will happen to everyone. Palin, her family, and her daughter are dealing with this in a very honest and very Christian way, and deserve to be (and will be) commended by everyone who shares that faith, and everyone of good will.

Only those who have no understanding of faith could think it’s harmful to have an opportunity to show one’s faith in action in the world.
