Dems Talking Down To America

Published by at 1:30 pm under All General Discussions

This is a must read for all of us who are seriously trying to assess the political options and are sick and tired of egotistical partisans telling us how dumb we are for not agreeing with them. A snippet from the leftward fevered swamps:

if you are a McCain/Palin/Bush voter, you and I do not have a difference of opinion. We have a difference in brain power.

Now, I want to be clear and speak directly to those of you who LOVED that Palin interview. You’re an idiot. I mean that.

Is this anyway to ‘entice’ voter support? One word comes to mind: “compensating”.

“Here, let me type really slowly in a way you all can understand.

Proof that Barack is the Obamessiah

Obama preached to the multitude by the side of the lake.

Obama created new states from out of the void.

Obama turned whine into Kool-Aid® for his followers.

Obama came to us carried upon a donkey.

Obama triumphed over the beast, the enemy of all men.

Obama was stoned and yet he has risen.

Obama’s flock has millions of sheep.

Obama will reign over us from a house with many rooms.

You must have no other candidates before Obama.

Obama will raise voters from the dead. Count on it.”

Strata-Sphere readers may be interested to know that the piece quoted by Ms. Lucas appeared first at the “Huffington Post”, where the author goes far beyond an extended disquisition about the ways in which he considers himself superior to “idiots” who do not support Obama. http://tinyurl.com/3v6olc http://preview.tinyurl.com/3v6olc

The original post, by one Michael Seitzman, is entitled “Sarah Palin Naked,” and opens with a salacious description of how he would like to rape Governor Palin, with his wife as his accomplice: “I want to have sex with her on my Barack Obama sheets while my wife reads aloud from the Constitution. (My wife is cool with this if I promise to “first wipe off Palin’s tranny makeup.” I married well.)”

The sneering, psychopathic fantasies of Obama’s most verbal supporters in culture and the arts would be sufficient reason to vote McCain/Palin, even if there were no others.

They’re Still Not Burning American Dollars Yet…

At the ripe old age of “Nearly Fifty,” all I can do is just sit here and shake my head at the current lamestream media hysteria and public uproar over the goings on on Wall Street and the latest round of so called “Bank failures.”

Add this on top of Bush administration/global warming induced killer hurricanes on the Gulf Coast and $5.00 a gallon gasoline, and one could be inclined to think that Jesus had been seen putting his carry-on bag into the airliner’s overhead compartment as he boards his return flight from Heaven or possibly that people were reported to be strapping on ice skates down in Hades.

Yes, I could see where those that are younger than me or otherwise uninformed could be looking around under their bed and in their closets for evil government regulators or greedy gas station owners lurking in the shadows–intent on stealing their last dollar intended to buy McDonald’s cheese burgers and Happy Meals butter and eggs, but in the perspective of the history I’ve witnessed since graduating from high school things aren’t nearly as bad as some people would have you believe.

Liberal belief structure is a house of cards. Since both history and current events refute the validity of liberal tenets, they must create an alternative underpinning. They must dwell in a world of strong feelings, where logic and evidence cannot intrude. This is why they become so emotional when having to defend their arguments.

The belief that they possess superior brainpower is unconscious, because it is a survival mechanism. It also aids them in ignoring the overwhelming evidence that their feelings don’t square with reality.

Further proof of the debilitating effects of BDS. When will this “disease” receive the funding and attention its sufferers crave. And when will it finally advance to the autonomic functions of breathing and blinking….soon I hope.

Deviant behavior such as this does help to remind us of the lines of acceptable behavior and as such is needed in a healthy society, which then needs to rid itself of these identified problems.

Apparently Warren Buffet is not too concerned, he’s buying companies at a record pace because the price is low. Now if he were selling, we may be in trouble. But he thinks you should buy low and now is the time.

SEC Plans to Temporarily Ban Short-Selling
By KARA SCANNELL and DEBORAH SOLOMON

WASHINGTON — The Securities and Exchange Commission took its most aggressive assault against bearish stock bets by stating its intention to issue a temporary ban on short-selling.

SEC Chairman Christopher Cox briefed Congress late Thursday of the agency’s intention to take the extraordinary step of interfering with the market’s regular functioning. Short-selling is a trading strategy of selling borrowed stock in hopes it falls and can be repurchased at a lower price.

It’s unclear if the SEC’s intention has been approved …
