Why Is The Left Sinking Into The Fever Swamp?
I don’t get it. I know the images of Katrina’s after math have had a profound effect on me, and my mood has been dark. I, like everyone, wish more could be done faster – but that monster storm ravaged 90,000 square miles and effected millions of people, their homes, businesses and communities. So I am again humbled in the face of nature.
But what is going on with the left? Radio Blogger has this disgusting on-air fantasizing by Randi Rhodes, who is literally imagining what would be a perfect reality for her – so the politics of this disaster would benefit her side of the political spectrum
“This President is never gonna do the right thing. I think somewhere deep down inside him he takes a lot of joy about losing people, if he thinks they vote Democrat or if he thinks they’re poor, or if he thinks they’re in a blue state, whatever his reasons are not to rescue those people who are (planning?) for their safety.”
That is one of the most pathetic things I have ever heard. This is her mental image of an idyllic world – for her!
In tandem with my post here, on the callousness of the left, Cherenkoff has more hateful comments on Katrina’s devastation from around the world. I doubt anyone will forget the abhorent words and actions of these people in a time of national emergency.
I wonder how, in their little personal fantasy worlds, they feel they are helping those who are struggling to stay alive?
[…] When Suzanne Malveaux, also of CNN, tries to claim there was no help coming form the feds to George Bush Sr, and Bill Clinton jumps in to set things straight I though maybe the left would tak a cue from Bill. But then Kuckoo Kos tried to call off the memorial activities for 9-11, Randi Rhodes libelously claimed Bush did not care for poor, black democrats, and some rapper uses a telethon for raising money to claim Bush doesn’t care about blacks.
