Able Danger, Round Up, 09/19/05

Published by at 2:20 pm under Able Danger/9-11,All General Discussions

There is little to no breaking news on Able Danger today (yet). But I have been seeing some great blogger posts on Able Danger out there, thanks to links to my site. I decided to pull them together in one place for people to review as we prepare for the hearings on Wednesdy.

Top Dog has a great post trying to discern fact from fiction. I am sorry my occassional posting on interesting conspiracy theories evidently caused him to conclude I was buying into the theory. I will endeavor to make sure I am clear when I am posting unsubstantiated theories verses establishing a groundwork of fact.

Mac, over at Mac’s Mind, has an interesting post on the origins of the Able Danger story.

Mac is kind enough to point us to this post at Pennywit

Junkyard Blog has a post exlporing the claims surrounding Able Danger and the attack on the USS Cole, with some recent updates.

As you peruse these posts, keep watching this site for news on the witness list for the supposedly open Senate hearings. My concern is the longer the witness list is held back the more likely the hearings may be closed. Let’s hope not!

Hi AJ, I was just linking to the discussion on your site about that quote from Free Republic, I didn’t attributed that quote to you, or intend to imply that you had said that part yourself – but I have gone back and added some more context of the quote to make that clearer.

I’m assuming 9:30AM is Eastern Time Zone for the hearings.

    C-span 2 & C-span3 don’t have anything scheduled for
Schedule date: Wednesday, September 21, 2005. Here’s the page:

    Maybe they’ll have it on?

John Podhoretz is a funny guy, when it looked like this entire Able Danger episode might just damage the Clinton Administration
