Get Out And Vote!

Published by at 1:58 pm under 2008 Elections,All General Discussions

Early voting patterns are showing two things – lots of voters are coming out, and many more are ‘democrats’. Here is a list of stories that show that early voting trends are indicating record voter turnout – which cannot be solely due to Democrats in the end. But the message is clear – if you are a McCain-Palin supporter get out and vote!

While Democrats are out in force – so are Republicans, just not as much. One article noted the voting was 3 times that of the primary, which again can only happen if McCain-Palin are mobilizing voters as well as Obama. If the indication is voter turnout will be high across the board (and some states are showing this) then there is always the good chance McCain-Palin can pull this out.

But only if you get out and vote!

AJ, do they know if these democrats are voting for obama or McCain?

Just because they are labeled democrat does NOT mean they are voting for obama. Why has the media ignored this? Oh that’s right. They.want.o.

And AJ did you see that macsmind is reporting on the API tape? I think the Left would like nothing more than to ensnare Fox in a Dan Rather moment, childish revenge being a large part of what they are about…
Have you noticed that their is definitely a war going on between Fox and the Hard left thugs? They are trying to intimidate Fox, imho. Marxists. Scary. Shame on any Israel loving person who votes for these thugs.

    Ivehadit,

There are no indicators which way the dems are voting. Saw a bit from Mac.

Here in California, Democrats were leading Republicans by only roughly 1,000 ballots cast in the combined totals for early voting and absentee, which is shocking given Democrat dominance in this state. (I don’t recall the source — maybe I read it here?) Typically, my experience has been that Republicans aren’t early voters, so this indicates a level of enthusiasm rarely seen in this state.

    I just voted for McCain.

I wonder if Republicans are more likely to vote on election day because they are more traditional.

I have not voted yet, but I will.

Look at this way, if the Democrats get out and vote early it makes it that much easier for them to vote again.

In truth, I think a lot of them are getting rides and stuff like that and they are being bussed to the polls.

Waited almost 4 hours in line to vote in GA. What I did not see was white, male, professionals. In general, the line was full of young, black males and white soccer moms. Fortunately, I had some time I could take from the office and even then, I missed a 1 PM meeting after getting in line at 9 AM.

Unless folks make voting a high priority and ask for some flex time from their boss McCain could find himself on the ropes in “safe” states like GA.
