Seems The Liberals Fear Real Democracy

Published by at 9:21 am under 2008 Elections,All General Discussions

I cannot believe I am reading this in America:

GOP Election Board members have been tossed out of polling stations in more than half a dozen polling stations in Philadelphia because of their party status.

A liberal judge previously ruled that court-appointed Republican poll watchers could be removed from their boards by an on-site election judge, citing their “minority” status as cause.

It is the duty of election board workers to monitor and guard the integrity of the voting process.

Those on site as describing it as “pandemonium” and there may be video coming of the chaos.

And these people want to lead this nation? Obama must be in worse shape in PA than I thought.

I’m surprised MSNBC hasn’t already called PA for Obama, based on this “rejection” of the Republicans. *harumph!*

I don’t think they are so much libarals today, as they are far leftists, and in tha case of Obama, Marxists.

I too Fear Real Democracy. It is Mob Rule. Our Founding Father feared it as well.

That is why the set up a Representative Republic, rather than a democracy.

It’s sad so many still to this day, don’t know what kind of country they live in.

Of course, it will face it’s greatest challenge in the years ahead.

With all those allegedly on the right calling us a democracy, and our Government Schools and Media repeating this myth, the Future looks quite bleak.

stevevvs, I agree, I NEVER refer to the US as a democracy, always a Republic for the reasons you state. A true democracy would be everyone voting for everything all the time. There is no way it can work, the minority would never have a chance.
