Dean Is Killing the Dems

Published by at 9:40 am under 2006 Elections,All General Discussions

OK folks, let us all recall Bush won in 2004 with nearly 60 million votes, 3 million more than Kerry. These were all time numbers (total, not percentage). Moderate, non aligned voters make up roughly a third of the electorate. Bush won these handily, but Kerry had a lot of votes from this pool of voters as well. So here come’s Dean who is going to ‘attract’ voters to democrats:

Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean yesterday said many Republicans don’t make an “honest living”

Now Dean has just personally insulted every Bush voter in the last election (because whether they call themselves a republican is not important – Dean is implying either they are like this, or they supported people like this). And he has probably irrated a major chunck of Kerry voters from the pool of moderate, non-aligned voters who are sick of this childish behaviour.

Thanks Gov Dean – you are the best thing to happen to the 2006 election.
