I think we have a potentially strong candidate to take on Boxer in Assemblyman Chuck DeVore. He knows energy policy, understands the problems caused by runaway spending and taxes, and is generally intelligent.

Which means California Republicans probably won’t nominate him. :/

In regards to election of Boxer and Feinstein, the deck is stacked against us Californians. They both have major money to campaign with, they have been able to reach the politically uneducated, and the Republicans have not be able to put a strong candidate on the ballot that can beat them. Until the Republican Party finds strong candidate we will be stuck with them.

According to the Los Angeles Times, President Obama has spoken, and said, unambiguously, that Iran is developing “a nuclear weapon.” The French agree. Bush’s presidency, thereby also undermining sanctions efforts by the rest of the international community — especially if it turns out that the NIE helped push Iranian scientists to the finish line this year.
