The Senate Democrats pull out Rule 21 out of their bag of tricks to try and get the attention focused back on the War in Iraq and Joe Wilson, Valerie Plame, and the Libby indictment. Good for them. They’ve managed to turn themselves into a sideshow.

What the hell are they playing at?

You know, I remember Republicans being very frustrated after Clinton “beat” his impeachment, but I don’t remember this kind of insanity. And not getting Rove’s scalp and the prospect of Alito on the court isn’t the same thing as being impeached. As I recall the response was to hunker down and win election cycles.

This is just nutty.

Must be tough for the Dems when the facts don’t fit the Agenda.
Now they have to throw tantrums to keep Libby in the news.
Forget that Fitz told them Friday this is all you get; no forged war lies. Now the Dems take it upon themselves to create an alternate reality, a bizaro senate, where innuendo is fact and lies are truths.

And to think I cast my first vote for Jimmah Carter in ’76 .. Shudder..
