Veteran’s Day
On this Veteran’s Day we at the Strata-Sphere want to thank one and all for the sacrifices made to create this great country. I see all veterans through the image of my father, World War II Navy veteran who served in the North Atlantic, Invasion of Africa and South Pacific. A simple man from West Virginia who answered his country’s call.
I hope all veterans have a special, pleasant day – you have all earned it and then some.
Veteran’s Day
We slogged through the mud, the mire, …. the blood, the guts and the tears.
We ate from cans, and sometimes not at all.
To all our vets: THANKS.
And a belated Happy Birthday to the United States Marine Corps in honor of my late father, who served in combat with H&S 1/12, 3rd MarDiv at Bougainville and Guam during World War II.
Eleventh Hour
While unknown soldiers battled for their friends…
Veterans Day 2005
Lest we forget those who took the ultimate sacrifice for our Nation. Today is a day to thank those who have served this country.
