Mark Levin: Class A Idiot

Published by at 1:27 pm under All General Discussions

When it comes to attracting support for conservatives, few exemplify what is wrong with the ‘true conservatives’ like the mental midget Mark Levin:

LEVIN: Yeah, sure, he can do whatever he wants. Let me ask you a question. Why do you hate this country?

CALLER: No, I love this country.

LEVIN: (angrily shouting) I SAID WHY DO YOU HATE MY COUNTRY? WHY DO YOU HATE MY CONSTITUTION? WHY DO YOU HATE MY DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE? You just said it. He can blow off Congress. He can do whatever he wants, right?

CALLER: Well, he seems to, he just moved (inaudible).

LEVIN: Answer me this, are you a married woman? Yes or no?

LEVIN: Well I don’t know why your husband doesn’t put a gun to his temple. Get the hell out of here.

That seems to be Levin’s answer to hard questions or reasonable points, put a gun to their head. What a moron. I am so glad I don’t have to be associated with someone like this anymore. If this is the voice of the Reagan conservatives, the movement should die off.

I think the moderate Republican wing pays too much attention to conservative talk radio. I think they should spend more time purging their wing of the moderates who vote for Democrats (Powell, Ridge, etc). I’m kidding, of course. But, honestly….

I’d rather have a Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, Huckabee, Beck, etc who would at least vote for the Republican candidate than a moderate Powell, Ridge, etc who admittingly vote for Dems half the time). Talk about building the party… do you do that by voting for the other guy?

Wow! This is interesting. Seems conservatives can win over moderates.

Moderate Pa. Republicans warming to Toomey

Moderate Republican leaders have stopped publicly pushing to recruit a less-conservative alternative to front-runner Pat Toomey in Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate race, a sign that he has begun to calm concerns about his electability.

Toomey has redoubled efforts to court skeptics in the party establishment in the two weeks since former Gov. Tom Ridge declined to enter the race for the GOP nomination despite the pleadings of prominent moderates.

Yes, Hewitt and Medved are very good, so very smart. I used to listen to them via free podcast but not sure if you still can.

I recently started listening to Joe Scarborough’s radio show — free to listen/download so far. Also available through iTunes.

He’s pretty knowledgeable and fun to listen to with good conservative insights and actual experience as a congressman. Never rude, but often passionate. And Mika’s got a really nice voice.

I know he’s been on TV for a while, but he’s on at midnight – 3am here in Hawaii, so never really caught him.

Want to know the talk radio I have had the most fun listening to lately? Lou Dobbs and Phil Grande. You have probably heard of Lou Dobbs, his mixture of business and common sense politics is right up my alley and Phil Grande, while he comes across sort of “crackpot-ish” has the current economic situation pegged to a “t”. I enjoy listening to them both.

Two other talk shows I like are Bill Bennett’s, Morning In America and Dennis Miller. I catch about 20 minutes of Bennett in the morning on my way to work and Miller once or twice a week if I’m out in the evenings. They both show the breadth of talent and opinion on talk radio. On dealing mainly with social issues while the other just a funny hodgepodge of opinion.

AJ, the question is: How much are moderates willing to compromise?

The Principled Moderates, men like Tom Ridge and Richard Lugar, are respected. They may not be as conservative as I would like, but they can be negoiated with. Compromised with. And once a deal is made, their word is their bond. As a conservative, I can work with Principled Moderates.

The issue is with the Intolerant Moderates. Their notion of “negoiation” is to present demands on a ‘take it or leave it’ basis. Their idea of compromise is that they get their way on everything. They want their pound of flesh…and once a deal is made, they demand more. Nobody can work with Intolerant Moderates.

And the Intolerant Moderates are responsible for quite a bit of the problems besetting this country. Their unwillingness to negoiate in good faith and inability to keep their word makes compromise impossible with them…and is tainting the entire moderate faction with their bad manners and bad faith.

    Back to Specter…..

I jeard on the news this morning that Specter’s 20 point lead has dropped in half already. And, people are only starting to find out who Toomey is.

All I know is that the liberal left, the moderates and Obama are leading us down the road to Marxism. When a Marxist publication like Pravda tells you the U.S. is scurrying down the road to socialism at breakneck speed one should listen to them…they know of what they speak

I love Levin’s writings – sometimes his on air hyperbole wears on me but he has a great mind and he is by no means a mental midget.

It is about time we have bold leadership – no pale pastel moderates – they are part of the problem now…not the solution. Sooner or later it will be time for us to make a stand before it is too late….if it is not already too late. I’m not talking about the GOP here…I’m talking about the USA.

Maybe AJ should talk about Obama’s big tent – if he can find it Obama talks one way but is just as divisive as the fringes in what he does…not what he says. He is a very dangerous man.
