Too Damn Funny

This is pure coffee-spewed-all-over-the-keyboard funny (you’ve been warned, put your drink down now)

One Czar to rule them all, One Czar to find them
One Czar to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

Actually, in order to get the correct connotation, we shouldn’t call them Czars, we should call them Kaisers (exactly the same word … derives from Caesar … but in German instead of the Russian).

Obama and his flock of Kaisers goose-stepping on top of corporate America.

“and what does it have in its pocketes?”

I think Czaruman should be more like CzaruRahm. Clearly that is the is the evil eye.

The Palantier is definitely the TOTUS! (Teleprompter of the United States) Sorry that is a little LOTR geeky….

I guess it’s a good thing that someone from the “far” Right didn’t put the eye of Sauron above the White House. It might drive people to terrorism.

I have a real problem with this bill just passed by Congress and signed by President Obama:

By a 3 to 1 margin, the House of Representatives today approved a bill passed by the Senate yesterday that gives the federal government sweeping new powers to regulate tobacco.

President Obama hailed the bipartisan votes in Congress on the bill, which he said “truly defines change in Washington.” He said he looks forward to signing it into law.

“This is the day when Americans can begin to truly kick the habit, with the full force of our laws marshaled to protect consumers, and especially our young people,” said Rep. Henry A. Waxman (D-Calif.), a key sponsor of the House version of the bill.

I believe it defines everything that is wrong with Washington. Since when is it the federal government’s job to modify people’s behavior? Since when is the Congress our parents?

I would have no problem with a government program focused on educating people of the dangers. But I have a serious problem with a government program that makes you do what they think is “best” for you. There are certain things in life that you should be able to make idiotic choices about if you like. It is not the role of government to make us “good”. What this REALLY is, is a laying of the groundwork for government medical care. They want to get costs down by forcing people not to smoke.

All they are going to end up doing is creating a black market in cigarettes and people are going to start growing their own.

Please. I have parents. I don’t need a few hundred more parents in Washington DC. Please stop trying to protect me from myself. I am a grown man and I demand to be treated as one.

And so goes the Obama administration’s culture of corruption:

President Obama’s pick to be the Army’s top lawyer withdrew after failing to disclose Fannie Mae as his former employer in a document submitted as part of his nomination process.

Everything is wrong with this bill and most of the other bills passed, not to mention putting “Czars” in charge of everything and anything. (Unelected and unaccountable except to Obama.)

We elect people to be our representatives, we do not elect them to be our rulers.
