A Century Of Global Warming Disappears in 2009

Published by at 9:07 am under Global Warming

Everyone knows this year has been pleasantly cool, if not down right cold on some days. As Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emission levels continue to rise, the Earth’s global temperature has been dropping since its high 10 years ago, when we experienced a strong El Nino (which has nothing to do with atmospheric CO2 since that is a Pacific Ocean phenomena).

This is completely counter to the models and predictions of the Warmists from the UN/IPCC and their erroneous climate models. In fact, it some locales over a century of global warming has been eradicated:

THIS JUNE IS TIED FOR THE 8TH COOLEST ON RECORD. THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS 67.5…3.7 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL…WHICH ALSO OCCURRED IN 1897.

THIS WAS THE COOLEST JUNE SINCE 1958...WHEN THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS 67.2 DEGREES.

Note, this is the average temperature for the month, not a one day record.

As the Sun’s activity has been very quiet, as measured by sun spot numbers, the Earth has cooled. This is in line with the long term climate record, which indicates that solar activity is the driving factor and CO2 levels simply rise in response (which makes sense, since higher temps result in more animals and biomass producing CO2).

Update: A must read on the false claims of the Warmists.
