Democrat Congress Backs Iraq War

Success has many fathers and mothers, failure is an orphan. After a year of votes to hold money until America surrendered Iraq to al-Qaeda, we end the year with Congress giving a clear signal they support the war in Iraq: Ending dual spending battles with President Bush, the Democratic-controlled Congress passed a $555 billion bill […]

Tancredo Bows Out

Apparently Tancredo’s positions on immigration issues are so widely held he has to drop out of the Presidential race to avoid a landslide win. Good riddance. America is going to stay out of the fringes for a while I suspect. Maybe Tancredo and Lamont can share their success stories with each other in retirement.

Democrat Sees Success Coming In Iraq

And no, it was not Joe Lieberman, it was US Congressman Donnelly who is not afraid to be objective and provide for some reasonable optimism given the blatant trend lines in Iraq: U.S. Rep. Joe Donnelly returned from a second trip to Iraq in five months encouraged that the mission there is going better and […]

Christ The Fascist? Ron Paul The Ass

We have fascism in this world today. It is alive and well and it has killed tens of thousands in the last few years. It is our sworn enemy – it goes by the name ‘al-Qaeda’. But Ron Paul is having delusional fantasies – his signs of fascism are those who carry the cross. Christ […]

The GOP Purity Wars Rage

It all started with the nomination of Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court. David Frum led the personal attacks on the person he used to work for when he was at the White House and who he had some personal issues (he left not long after she arrived). The fall out (as I predicted) was […]

Dems Propped Up Byrd To Hold Senate – Now Pushing Him Out

One of the coldest acts Dems did in 2006 was to force the retiring venerable Sen Robert Byrd away from a much deserved and needed retirement so they could get control of the Senate. It was a terrible power play. And now they are blaming this legendary orator from West Virginia for their problems with […]

Congress Leaves Town With America Disgusted At Their Incompetence

Playing games with our troops in harms way, pretending the second coming of Nixon is more important than monitoring al-Qaeda and detecting any jihadists in America, completely effing up the entire congressional year with pouting, foot-stomping results that go nowhere, it is no surprise this Congress is heading into history as one of our worst […]

The Implosion Of The Leftward Fever Swamps, Dems Mob Out Of Control

The far left is still marching to the cliff of oblivion. They’re infamous standard bearer, Cindy Sheehan, is now calling for the impeachment of the top three officers of the US government because of their complicity in ‘torture’ (via a process reporters have voluntarily had performed on them with no noticeable physical or mental harm): […]

Huckabee A Disaster For GOP

Governor Huckabee’s 15 minutes of fame are just about up. I am not really all that concerned about all the noise about his religion, but his mouth seems perfectly sized to fit his foot. Huckabee has done something now that should end his race for the White Houst – he has taken the Pelosi-Reid-Gore-Daschle position […]

Boehner: Immigration Still Killing GOP Efforts For 2008

GOP Minority Leader Boehner has admitted publicly what was clear for months now – the immigration debacle from last spring is killing the GOP fundraising efforts for 2008. Polls show the public holds congressional Republicans in low esteem. Boehner’s effort to craft a new agenda for Republicans remains under wraps. And in the minority leader’s […]
