Spread The Wealth Around

Will historians look back on this election on ponder exactly what was it that pushed a centrist like McCain into the White House over liberal Obama? If so they may find this little ditty emblematic of where Obama stumbled (H/T Powerline).

And while listening to this note that McCain’s internal polls indicate he will win all [...]

Democrat Women Come Out For Palin

I wanted to pass along an observation to the women of America that I hold dear, probably because I am the father of 3 wonderful young ladies who I want to see grow up to their full potential, whatever that is. I want them to be free to be who they are, and not be [...]

Palin Verses Obama In Northern Virginia Shows Tight Race

Last week Senator Obama came to Northern Virginia - Leesburg to be exact. There he pulled a crowd of 10,000 people (though almost half left before he was even done speaking?). Today Governor Sarah Palin came to Leesburg, VA and also pulled a crowd of 10,000 people. A picture of the event this cold autumn [...]

It’s All Ground Game Now

Something big is happening in Northern Virginia. I have been out of the country for a week and I came back home to the place I was born, raised and where I raised my family to find I did not recognize it. The area has become obsessed with the presidential election! There are signs everywhere [...]

Palin To Be In Leesburg, VA Monday!

Folks, Governor Palin will be in Leesburg, VA Monday.  Everyone who can go should go, and let’s see if the Palin crowd can rival or exceed the recent Obama visit!
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be in Leesburg Monday morning to do her part in Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) effort to keep Virginia in the “red” [...]

Sarah Palin Is The GOP Leader For The Future

Let me remind all those frustrated conservatives across the spectrum who, in one way or another, allowed the Democrats to take Congress in 2006. Many stayed home, others were tired of being belittled as impure conservatives and voted democrat. Both the moderate and far right were going to teach each other a lesson with Democrats [...]

Listen To Obi-Wan, And Watch Those Polls! - Updated!

McCain wants to change DC, Obama wants to change America!
2nd Major Update: Did Obama commit a fatal unforced error when he let slip his liberal/socialist plans for redistributing wealth?
This is still a center-right country, gang. Note this Gallup poll from June:
When given a choice about how government should address the numerous economic difficulties facing today’s [...]

Recap Of 3rd Presidential Debate For 2008

McCain wants to change DC, Obama wants to change America!
Some interesting things happened last night which showed something has changed the dynamic of this race as it goes into the home stretch.
The largest surprise I saw post debate was how McCain was getting huge positives for telling Obama he was not Bush and if had [...]

McCain-Palin Drawing Enormous Crowds In VA

McCain wants to change DC, Obama wants to change America!

One of my biggest problems with current polls is the idea there is no energy behind the McCain-Palin ticket to match the energy behind the Obama-What’s-his-name ticket. The theory goes Obama, being the chosen one by the liberal media, cannot lose in this season of anti-Bush [...]

Men Protecting Men Who Harass Women

McCain wants to change DC, Obama wants to change America!
I know the Palin Derganged liberal media is cheering POLITICAL conclusion that Governor Palin abused her powers as governor in trying to protect her family from a stalking, abusive brother-in-law. The key point in the report:
A legislative investigator found that Palin violated state ethics laws and [...]

Why I Am A Conservative Independent

Want to know why I am proud to be a conservative independent and happy to remain outside the cult of a national party? David Brooks illustrates the fact that the rot in the Political Industrial Complex of Pols, Pundits, Media and Power Brokers cuts across party lines:
David Brooks spoke frankly about the presidential and vice [...]

Obama Surrogate Springsteen Gets 10,000, VP Candidate Palin Gets 10,000

Obama just cannot match Sarah Palin’s ability to draw crowds. Today Obama surrogate ‘The Boss’ Springsteen serenaded a crowd of 10,000 - most of which I am sure came to just hear the music and all of which were not Obama supporters. Also today Sarah Palin, VP Candidate for the GOP, drew 10,000 supporters. They were all [...]

The Failing McCain-Palin Campaign Still Drawing Record Crowds

Update: Well Obama tried, but Palin actually got a crowd of 30,000 in Carson CA, which is 50% more than Obama got in Asheville, NC.
Update: It seems Obama was able to pull about 20,000 today at a rally in NC. Impressive - he is as good as Palin, which makes me wonder all the more about [...]

Political Industrial Complex Reacts To Palin - And Shows ITS Weakness

Two talking heads on NBC’s Meet The Press illustrated why Palin is the premier candidate in this race. Paul Begala tried to address Palin’s comments about Obama’s relationship to Bill Ayers, the unrepentant terrorist. Begala’s efforts to turn this around were laughable. He started by saying “guilt by association” would not work Bush-McCain, Bush-McCain, Bush-McCain). [...]

Is Obama Actually A Puppet On A String?

We seem to go round and round again these days on whether candidates have ear pieces (and these days they can be impossible to detect since some can simply be a patch or something near the ear). I think many pols are wired to a back room of puppeteers.
The Anchoress put me onto this interesting [...]
