Newt Gringrich – Idiot

Newt Gringrich just started his interview on Meet The Press by asying (a) everything the NSA has done to date is legal [good], and (b) Bush failed to tell the American people in advance what he was doing [dumb as a rock]. Earth to Newt, the reason we don’t explain the details of what we […]

Do We Want To Stop A Terrorist Attack Or Not?

The Baltimore Sun has a story out today which confirms what I have been posting for months regarding the NSA’s Terrorist Surveillance Program and what changed in the NSA mission post 9-11. My first point was that prior to 9-11, if the NSA was listening in on a Al Qaeda switchboard in Yemen, and if […]

Mary McCarthy Admits Her Maverick Ways

*** Update: interesting look at one of the NSC sources in the WaPo article and his ties to the leftward fringes *** Looks like Mary McCarthy and the rogue CIA agents, along with the news media (and an out of control prosecutor?) have decided the time is right to admit she was just trying to […]

From The Duh! Files

Two Duh! Files in one day!  Liberal columnist Margaret Carlson has a new article out entitled: What CIA needs is new president Well Duh!  Why do you think they have been leaking national security details to the media?  They are trying to get Bush Impeached, since they couldn’t tip the election towards Kerry

In an era when other intelligence agencies try to hide those operations, the director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, retired Air […]

To Die For Your Phone Number

Another post I lost yesterday was the one discussing the Democrat strategy of killing our efforts to detect terrorists in order to protect our phone numbers from the Feds. The democrats are introducing or planning to introduce legislation that would stop the NSA Terrorist Surveillance Program. Members of the House Intelligence and Judiciary committees introduced […]

More Grossman II

This post is a recreation of one I lost yesterday in a Hosting Matters server and cpu crash. I was pointing out in the latest cour transcript (H/T Tom Maguire) how it is appears evident that Marc Grossman has some credibility issues. Issues Fitzgerald is very much aware of. To summarize the contents: (1) the […]

About That Outage

Published by under All General Discussions

OK, I lost a whole day’s worth of posts and comments thanks to some obvious ineptitude by Hosting Matters. When they tried to do some maintenance on a server they lost the disks and the motherboard. Their ineptitude came in by not backing up right before they attempted the maintenance. The latest back up was […]

Sorry For The Outage

Published by under All General Discussions

Our provider Hosting Matters was able to turn a 2 minute maintenance effort into a 3 hour outage. We seem to be back. But I seem to have lost my post on the Libby court transcripts. Ugh! Addendum: make that all my posts from Friday from 6 AM onward.
