Keane Ahead In NJ Poll

Two elements of good news are in a new poll out on the NJ senate: The first is Republican Keane is leading incumbent Menendez by four points (which given the MoE of the poll makes it a ‘statistical’ tie). Second, Keane will race ahead once he deals with the Iraq war issue or it is […]

The Nuts On The Left Are Crazy

Published by under All General Discussions

Mark Steyn has the unbelievable story of insane conspiracy theories eminating from those who are charged to teach our children how to deal with life: Who is A. K. Dewdney? He’s an adjunct professor of biology at the University of Western Ontario, and he has pieced together the truth about what happened on 9/11. You […]

California’s Demise

Published by under All General Discussions

I read over at Captain’s Quarters about the Democrat run CA Assembly voting to establish a government run health care system, and just shook my head. My wife is from CA, that is also where my sister and her family live and I have always wanted to live there (it is beautiful). But the government […]

Mr President: Listen To Dick Morris

Now I see why Dick Morris is a formidable political advisor. He has sage advise for Bush and all Republicans for the fall campaign: Bush and the Republicans need to stop alienating voters by arguing that Iraq is an indispensable front in the War on Terror. They should center their fall campaign to keep control […]

Libby’s Defense Bolstered

It appears Libby’s defense was provided a large heaping of credibility, while the leftwing Plameiacs are chowing down some crow. Just one example of how both are being served up in single posts from before the Armitage news: There’s a curious article in yesterday’s Insight News, a conservative publication, that reports that Libby’s lawyers in […]

Death To Israel?

Published by under All General Discussions

Are the nuts taking over the insane asylum on the left? President Bush is visiting Salt Lake City, Utah and there are the usual anti-war crowd types doing some protesting. But Michelle Malkin noted something much more sinister (and devastating to the Dems) – a Death To Israel protest. I was wondering why this was […]

Cantwell Not Doing Well

More poll trouble for Cantwell: A new Washington poll released Tuesday by the Republican-leaning polling firm Strategic Vision found Cantwell leading McGavick by a 48 percent to 43 percent margin with an error margin of 3 percent. The poll questioned 800 likely voters on Aug. 25-27, and its results mirrored the findings of a Rasmussen […]

Media Squashes Poll Results Supporting Profiling

I find it stunning that the US media (and Quinnipiac itself) are not announcing a stunning revelation in their latest poll. I had to go to some overseas news outlets to find the data: A majority of Americans approve of ethnic profiling at airports and subways to prevent terrorist attacks, a new poll shows. The […]

2+2=Dem Disaster

Earlier I posted on the collapse of association between the Democrat Party and those of faith. In the referenced Pew Poll it was shown 85% of Americans feel deeply about religion (I tend to be one of the few who would not be in this category – I like to say ‘spiritual’). Of that 85% […]

Fitz And Al Qaeda?

Published by under All General Discussions

Is there an underlying angle with Prosecutor Fitzgerald and the Bush administration’s actions against Al Qaeda due to Fitzgerald’s disasterous run in with Al Qaeda in the 1990’s? Seems a little far fetched, but an interesting side bar to a strange story. Whodathunk there was any connection at all. You learn something new everyday.
