Cantwell Not Doing Well

More poll trouble for Cantwell: A new Washington poll released Tuesday by the Republican-leaning polling firm Strategic Vision found Cantwell leading McGavick by a 48 percent to 43 percent margin with an error margin of 3 percent. The poll questioned 800 likely voters on Aug. 25-27, and its results mirrored the findings of a Rasmussen [...]

Media Squashes Poll Results Supporting Profiling

I find it stunning that the US media (and Quinnipiac itself) are not announcing a stunning revelation in their latest poll. I had to go to some overseas news outlets to find the data: A majority of Americans approve of ethnic profiling at airports and subways to prevent terrorist attacks, a new poll shows. The [...]

2+2=Dem Disaster

Earlier I posted on the collapse of association between the Democrat Party and those of faith. In the referenced Pew Poll it was shown 85% of Americans feel deeply about religion (I tend to be one of the few who would not be in this category – I like to say ‘spiritual’). Of that 85% [...]

Fitz And Al Qaeda?

Published by under All General Discussions

Is there an underlying angle with Prosecutor Fitzgerald and the Bush administration’s actions against Al Qaeda due to Fitzgerald’s disasterous run in with Al Qaeda in the 1990′s? Seems a little far fetched, but an interesting side bar to a strange story. Whodathunk there was any connection at all. You learn something new everyday.

Fitzgerald’s Lies To US Appeals Court

Well, after assessing Fitzgerald’s falsehoods, misleading statements and half truths at his press conference and his submission to the US SC, you would guess I would want to see how badly Fitzgerald was shading the truth to the US Court of Appeals. Here is his court submission and we will beging the fisking. The very [...]

Fitzgerald’s Lost Credibility

I have a long post here on Fitzgerald’s duplicitous press conference where he implied Libby was responsible for the Plame leak, and a long post here on what could be his biased and incomplete presentation to the US Supreme Court to jail Judith Miller. Throughout I see a man hiding the truth from a process [...]

Are Dems Anti-Religion?

RCP has this wonderfully funny column at Slate where the left is confounded on how it could be losing support of those who have some form of religious conviction. The author gives a bit of a hint: When Democratic Party leaders “found God in the 2004 exit polls,” as Washington Post columnist E.J. Dionne Jr. [...]

Novak’s Mystery Contact?

Update: Clarice Feldman of American Thinker fame emailed that she knows Ed Morse and doubts he is the person who ran to Wilson. I take her word for it. The only reason I noted Morse is he fit Leopold’s general description. I definitely trust Clarice over Jason! So assume all of the following is for [...]

Fitzgerald’s Lies To The USSC?

Here is Fitzgerald’s submission to the US Supreme Court regarding his need to enforce subpoena’s on Judith Miller and Mark Cooper, even though he knew at the time Richard Armitage was the source of the leak to Bob Novak and that Libby and Rove were nothing more than weak confirmations(the CIA was a strong confirming [...]

Terrorists With Automobiles

Published by under All General Discussions

The scene in San Fransisco today of a man mowing down people with his car is eerily reminiscent of the Muslim student who used the same weapon (an SUV) to attempt to kill students in his little version of Jihad against the West. In San Francisco one dead and many hurt (later story here): One [...]

The Lies Of Fitzgerald

I am still fuming that a prosecutor can so abuse his position that he lets two innocent people become smeared by innuendo while he (and Armitage and Powell and Taft) knew the truth and hid it from the public. So now it is time to investigate Fitzgerald based on his lying at the press conference [...]

The 9-11 Effect Grows

This is an interesting poll as we head into the final laps of this election season: The majority of Americans feel that the terror attacks of September 11th will go down in history as more significant than the attack on Pearl Harbor, according to the latest Quinnipiac poll. Fifty-six percent of those surveyed said 9/11 [...]

President Subpoened For Protecting US

Published by under All General Discussions

This should help the Reps whoop the left this fall: Two attorneys representing claimants in a lawsuit over wiretapping by the National Security Agency claim that they will subpoena the White House today, RAW STORY has learned … Afran, a Green Party candidate for New Jersey Senate, told RAW STORY he expected the White House [...]

FISA-NSA Summary – Bush Was Right To Act

The best legal and political summary I have seen on the NSA monitoring of the Terrorists (and whoever contacts them from the US) is here. It re-enforces my contention that it is not a question of whether the NSA can monitor our enemies, it is simply a question of what to do with the leads. [...]

Ouch! That’s Going To Leave A Mark

Don Rumsfeld (and other administration leaders) are taking the gloves off and applying some serious 2×4′s to the left and their enablers in the antique media. First Rumsfeld voiced his concern the media was being manipulated (or worse) by the terrorist propaganda machine (which seems to be light years more sophisticated than the media can [...]
