Lieberman Still Trouncing Lamont

In case anyone cares anymore, Lieberman is still trouncing anti-war candidate Ned Lamont by 10 points, 49-39. In a three way race that is pretty bad news for Lamont. Here is the Quinnipiac poll page for CT. The details are staggering:
In this latest survey, Lieberman leads Lamont 69 - 15 percent among [...]

The Dem Implosion Continues

Published by AJStrata under All General Discussions

Hot on the heals of the NIE which clearly states Iraq is pivatol to success in our war against terror, the fall’s regularly falling gas prices, a rising stock market reaching new highs, low unemployment and surging consumer confidence, and poll after poll showing Democrat leads disappearing (in most cases) comes more news - the [...]

Plugging Partisan Leaks

Published by AJStrata under All General Discussions

Here is an interesting post regarding the hyped squealing coming from the press because the Congress is about to take actions to stop the leaking of classified information for partisan/political gain. We have seen desparate lefties who have taken an oath to protect this country by protecting our secret efforts to defend ourselves from [...]

Major Milestone Achieved In Iraq - New Allies Against AQ

Published by AJStrata under All General Discussions, Iraq

A major milestone has been achieved in Iraq’s path towards a peaceful democracy with the announcement of Sunni support to the Shia Prime Minister:
Sunni tribal leaders who have vowed to drive al Qaeda out of Iraq’s most restive province met the Shi’ite premier on Wednesday, marking what Washington hopes will be a breakthrough alliance against [...]

Where In The World Is Osama?

Musharraf says Osama Bin Laden is in Afghanistan under the protection of a pro-Taliban warlord. Seems like a very possible place to wander back and forth across the borders and seek a sanctuary. Are we getting closer?

Handing The Taliban Rope

Most folks are just not looking at the Musharraf peace deals in Waziristan and the norther provinces accurately. They see the Pakistan government as dupes being tricked into harboring the Taliban. I see the Taliban being offered a chance to reform - or else. And apparently they may select “or else”. [...]

Could Oregon Gov Go Republican?

In what has to be an out of the blue sleeper race it seems the Oregan Governor race is now tightening up with Democrat Kulongoski leading Republican Saxton 43 percent to 38 percent. The remainder of the votes are spread across other third party candidates. Interesting race to watch.

NY Times Front Pages Fantasy

If anyone doubts the NY Times is not an arm of the DNC just check out their headline tomorrow and recall NJ and MD are likely to go to the Reps, nullifying any Dem pick ups in PA, OH or MT. Over confidence is not a virtue and doesn’t win elections. The left [...]

Attacks On Allen A Failure

As I have said in many posts (here and here for example) on the smear campaign against Allen, it isn’t working at all. The latest poll at RCP has Allen comfortably ahead by 5 and just under the magical 50%. Webb should start sinking as women start to digest is comments about their [...]

Clinton CIA Supported Bin Laden’s Efforts

Someone recently linked to an old post of mine which I had forgotten about. It referenced a classified report that, contrary to Clinton’s claims on Fox News last Sunday about trying to kill Bin Laden, detailed how his administration helped Bin Laden:
WMR has obtained a confidential “France Only” report of the French intelligence service, [...]

Does Anyone Oppose A “War” On Terror? Liberals Do.

If you ask most Americans if we are at war with terrorists since 9-11 they will wisely say ‘yes’. It is clear one the largest ‘dots’ we failed to connect under Bill Clinton was Bin Laden’s declaration of war on the US. But now some lefty liberals fret that to acknowledge the true [...]

Two Polls For Dems To Cheer

If the Democrats want to crow about our defeats, two polls are out to warm the dark cockles of their cold hearts. First is a Gallup poll putting more blame on Bush than Clinton for getting Bin Laden (though I assume that doesn’t equate to who had more chances to prevent 9-11). The [...]

An Accurate Reading Of The NIE

[Warning: this is a long post analyzing the entire NIE release properly, without removing context or cherry-picking] The media is terrible at reading comprehension, as has been proven time and time again. From the erroneous reporting on the NSA’s Terrorist Surveillance Program (were they wrongly claimed the NSA was bypassing the NSA when in [...]

Democrats Plan To Aid Terrorists And Stop NSA Surveillance

Here is some news Americans need to know heading into these elections: Democrats plan to surrender Iraq to Al Qaeda and will certainly aid the terrorists by dismantling the NSA’s Terrorist Surveillance Program (TSP) if they win. And the will do it with glee.
But most independent political analysts expect Democrats to pick [...]
