NSA Surveillance Allowed To Continue

Mac Ranger points to good news out of the 6th Circuit Court staying that lunatic judge’s lame finding that the NSA program – to monitor Al Qaeda overseas and notify the FBI if they pick up communications with people here in the US – was unconstitutional. Excellent!

More From Fordham On Foley

Fordham, Foley’s former Chief Of Staff, is talking up a storm to the new media, and trying to blame Foley and the House leadership. The longtime Capitol Hill aide said he would fully disclose to the FBI and the House ethics committee “any and all meetings and phone calls” regarding Foley’s behavior that he had […]

IM Page Outed Now

The blog Passionate America (what an oxymoron for a title) has decided to ‘out’ a young man who did nothing wrong, and whose parents did not want him exposed, simply because he was the one to IM with Rep Foley. The exploitation of these victims continues. Personal pleasure for Foley, partisan gain for the Democrats […]

Kirk Fordham Resigns Over Foley Fallout

Update: I have changed the title of this to correct the misinformation provided by The Blotter in claiming Fordham was fired. According to Town Hall he apparently resigned. Update: It seems I was possibly wrong about Fordham since he was one of those people Mike Rogers and company tried to ‘out’ and put pressure on. […]

Iraqis Fighting Back Against Al Qaeda

Reader Lawryn pointed me to this interesting article on events in Iraq. It seems the Iraqis are fed up with Al Qaeda and sending them packing, which is consistent with the Al Qaeda letter to Zarqawi that describes a backlash against Al Qaeda. Good news from Iraq, and of course it is not being shown […]

Dems Conspired On Foley Leak?

I am putting a question mark at the end of the title of this post out of caution because rumors are just that – rumors. But reader Roonent1 pointed out this comment at Polipundit which hints at some coming bad news for Dems: FYI, you may have heard this, but Selena Zito with the Pittsburgh […]

Is Al Qaeda Losing?

This interesting article up at Human Events makes an interesting observation about Al Qaeda’s own views on its current situation: The letter features al Qaeda’s usual religious panegyrics, but also contains strong evidence of fear, doubt and impending defeat. It seems five years of continual defeat (and that is what the record is) have shaken […]

Did The CIA Mislead Bush Prior To 9-11?

Published by under All General Discussions

All the recent efforts to try and tar Bush with not acting prior to 9-11 (in order to distract from a freaking TV Docudrama that hit the Clinton team hard) may be in for a real shocker. I have always had a problem with people using 20/20 hindsight and claiming we should have seen 9-11 […]

The Governator Saves The EC in CA

Published by under All General Discussions

Democrats, fed up that they have to live with the rest of us conservative Americans in flyover country outside the mega-cities have beeb trying for years to tear down the Electoral College system that brings equity to smaller states or staes with smaller populations. One idea was cooked up in California (no surprise there) to […]
