Hillary’s State Department Might Have Avoided Pulse Killings

Published by under All General Discussions

What if?

That is a really dangerous – and many times pointless – question. The answers can range from disturbing to silly.

What if Hitler had been assassinated in the July 1944 attempt on his life at his Wolf’s Lair? How many people would have lived instead of dying in the bloody invasion of Fortress Europe?

What if President Lincoln’s assassin had missed and Lincoln had never died?

What if the Titanic had missed that lone iceberg?

What if Bill Clinton was a good and faithful husband?

It is a question that sometimes needs to be asked. And this seems to be one of those times.

What if Hillary Clinton and her State Department HAD NOT blocked a Homeland Security inquiry into Omar Mateen’s mosque, and instead had disrupted the flow of events leading to the bloody massacre at the Pulse?

Hillary Clinton’s State Dept. shut down an investigation into the mosque Orlando killer Omar Mir Siddique Mateen attended because it “unfairly singled out Muslims.”

The Fort Pierce Islamic Center, where Mateen worshipped several times a week, was under investigation by both the FBI and DHS as early as 2011 for ties to a worldwide Islamic movement known as Tablighi Jamaal which was linked to several terrorist organizations.

But the investigation was shut down under pressure from the Clinton-ran State Dept. and DHS’s Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Office out of fear of offending Muslims, according to recently retired DHS agent Philip Haney.

Un – be – lievable. [emphasis in original]

Let me get this straight. We may offend some Muslims, so we instead clear a path for a national disaster to take place? An epic bloodbath of innocent people out for a night of fun? This is leadership?

Is this Beirut? Is this Jerusalem? Is this Afghanistan?

When the police pull over a drunk driver, should they be worried that they may “offend” the driver? Or should they protect all the other innocent people on our public roads?

How is this even a question? Who was so Politically Correct they locked down all their IQ points to come up with this nonsense?

The world of Obama/Clinton has now brutally exposed itself to America. But don’t expect the dullards in the Political Industrial Complex to wake up and smell the carnage.  The real world is some theoretical, other-dimension to the political elites.

President Obama’s Latest Drivel

To be clear, let me explain my word choice in the title of this post:

driv·el
?driv?l/
noun
noun: drivel
  1. 1.
    silly nonsense.
    “don’t talk such drivel!”
synonyms: nonsense, twaddle, claptrap, balderdash, gibberish, rubbish, mumbo jumbo, garbage; More

    “he was talking complete drivel”

synonyms: talk nonsense, talk rubbish, babble, ramble, gibber, blather, prattle, gabble, waffle

    “you always drivel on

President Obama has just demonstrated what a confused and unprepared leader he remains – even after 7 years trying to lead this great nation. You have to be completely out to lunch to make a statement like this after the worse massacre of innocent life in US history:

So determined is the president to avoid the subject of Islamist, ISIS-inspired or ISIS-directed terrorism that he concluded his remarks with an astonishing insistence that “we need the strength and courage to change” our attitudes toward the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.

That’s just disgusting. There’s no other word for it.

America’s national attitude toward LGBT people didn’t shoot up the Pulse nightclub.

If Obama wanted to strengthen Donald Trump’s anti-terrorist platform and sink former Secretary of State Clinton’s chance at election – he sure did it today. He has riddled this country with undocumented illegal aliens, any one of which could coordinate other attacks with people like Omar Mateen (an anchor baby – which is another perk this nation needs to roll back). We have lost control of our borders and now we sit and wait to see who is and is not going to kill us.

Brilliant.

The only way to “change” America’s current path towards gays, lesbians, etc would be to reverse gears 180 degrees and embrace Islamic law, followed by state-sponsored progroms to eradicate the individuals who are insulting Islamo Fascists. Is that what Obama means?

Or is this more of “blame the victim”?? Who knows what this latest drivel was meant to convey – outside his legendary incompetence.

Update: Before Obama’s drivel even hit the floor is nuanced stance just got completely upended:

Orlando Jihadist Omar Matten was radicalized by New Back Panther Party Member, Marcus Dwayne Robertson (below left), who is a known advocate of radical Islam in Florida and was formerly famous for being a bodyguard for the Blind Sheik.

The gunman who murdered at least 50 people in a Florida nightclub early Sunday morning was a follower of a controversial gang leader-turned-bank robber who was released from prison last year despite warnings from prosecutors that he would recruit people to carry out violent acts, sources told FoxNews.com.

More here:

US District Judge Greg Presnell, a Clinton appointee, ignored warnings from the government lawyers that Robertson was incredibly good at recruiting other people to do things and carry out acts that he didn’t participate in.

Sunday morning in Orlando probably was one of those.

Double whammy.  Can’t wait to see Obama/Clinton try and explain this away.

Trump Increases(??) Hispanic Support

Update: Some good observations from Sean Trende, with AllahPundit lamenting stubborn Trump voters end update

What if America’s Political Industrial Complex (PIC) was so isolated, so insulated, so distant from  “everyday America” that they had no clue how misguided and off track they are? What if the bubble that surrounds them and blocks their view of Main Street has become so dense that the denizens of the PIC are completely blind to what is happening outside their bubble?

If this was the case, and a broad voter backlash was rising up in the populace representing the right-to-center swath of America, you would see reports like this:

It is evident that Donald Trump has rewritten the rules of political campaigning, leaving the so- called experts, analysts, journalists and even the GOP itself puzzled by the power and effectiveness of his approach.

Latino advocacy groups and some celebrities have launched powerful videos, protests and campaigns against Trump. Recognized conservative voices like Marco Rubio, Susana Martinez, the Bush family, and even Pope Francis himself have made their discontent clear with the candidate, but could it be possible he is actually gaining support among Hispanics?

Well, before we get to the juicy stuff lets recall why there is an impression Trump is being rejected by America’s Hispanics.  This theory is all based on political theater and something called “astroturfing”:

In political science, it is defined as the process of seeking electoral victory or legislative relief for grievances by helping political actors find and mobilize a sympathetic public, and is designed to create the image of public consensus where there is none.[1][2] Astroturfing is the use of fake grassroots efforts that primarily focus on influencing public opinion and typically are funded by corporations and governmental entities to form opinions.

Emphasis mine.  By definition the political act of astroturing is to create a false impression in the public’s (or PIC’s) mind. From the theory of astroturfing, we go to the facts of astroturfing:

False flag operations have long been common in politics, but these riots are poisonous to the electorate, intentionally designed to turn violent and stifle free speech.

This free speech-busting goon squad operation is directed by supporters of Hillary Clinton. It is paid for mostly by George Soros and MoveOn.org and pushed by David Brock at Media Matters for America.

A march and demonstration against Trump at Trump Tower essentially fizzled Saturday when only 500 “protesters” of the promised 5000 showed up. Infiltrating the crowd, I learned most were from MoveOn or the Occupy movement. Soap was definitely in short supply in this crowd. Several admitted answering a Craig’s list ad paying $16.00 an hour for protesters.

OK, with the full context of what has been going on this primary season, let’s get back to reality and whether Trump is really hemorrhaging Hispanic support:

Clearly, conventional political research is in question, but what if big data analysis reveals Trump’s rise is real, based on a sample size of over 1 million Hispanics?

Based on big data analysis over the last 30 days as of June 1st, Trump reports 37 percent of Hispanic positive sentiment versus 41 percent for Clinton.

Woah!

Hold up here! Trump is basically tied with Clinton on Hispanic support?

The hilarity of all this is that what we probably have here is the boomerang effect. The Political Industrial Complex astroturfing  Trump with regards to Hispanics has fooled themselves into this mindset!

I mean, if the PIC (which encompasses all the career politicians, their handlers and consultants, their crony donors and lobbyists, and the ever pliant “news”media) want to pretend Donald Trump is not going to do well with Hispanics – fine with me!

They can delude themselves all they want. It will be all the more sweet when Trump wins come November and they realize the PIC is going to get a major overhaul – thanks to some very frustrated and fed up voters.

Even When She Is Winning, Hillary Is Losing

So we have finally ended the primary season for 2016 – thank goodness! We can all go back to our daily lives now at least until the conventions, maybe even until November rolls around.

So what have we learned from the primary season?  Given Trump’s ‘unexpected’ rise to become the GOP’s presumptive presidential candidate, we can safely assume this is an anti-establishment election.  Plus, with the defections of so many ‘conservative’ elites from the GOP tent because of Trump, it is clear the ‘establishment’ is ignorant of the low esteem the voters hold them in. Or they are perfect examples of those “nose-in-the-air” elites who created the voter backlash that Trump embodies (and to some extent Sanders).

So, is this a close race between the establishment elites represented by ” the Queen of the Establishment” Hillary Clinton, and the fed-up voters represented by the trash talking Donald?

I don’t think so.  The energy has been on the anti-elite side from day one. It has only continued to tip towards them as we end the primary phase of this election cycle.

I present two data points to support my claim.  Data Point 1 – Trump’s historic voter turnout and vote total:

Trump received 13,406,108 votes to date in the elections according to www.thegreenpapers.com.

As a result Trump has more votes than any candidate in Republican history.

Trump shattered the previous record by 1.4 million votes — and that was with 17 candidates in the race

The Republican Party also set a party record this year in pre-convention state election turnout with over 28 million votes to date, which is 139% of the record high voter turnout in 2008. This increase in votes can be attributed to Donald Trump.

Clearly Trump had some serious momentum even to the end, as his voters kept turning out well after he locked up the GOP nomination.

So how is Hillary doing? She struggled down to the wire to vanquish Sanders in an intense battle, so you would think she too is seeing serious momentum.

You would think, Data Point 2:

Hillary Clinton’s base of support appears to have hit its high watermark eight years ago.

With 94.4% of precincts reporting, Clinton won 1,841,285 votes in California on Tuesday, compared to Bernie Sanders’s 1,416,742, Politico reports.

That’s nearly a 30% drop in total support from 2008

Is Media Crafting An Excuse For Hillary Losses Today?

Yesterday the political news media pulled the wind out of the last primaries of the season, including in California. By prematurely claiming Clinton had enough delegates, the news media just told Hillary supporters in these last primaries to “stay home”.

Why do this?

Bernie may not be able to win the nomination outright, but the last thing Clinton needs is to limp over the finish line with a string of losses in the final states, particularly the huge contest in California. And the thinner her margin of victory in the pledged delegate count, the fewer superdelegates it would take to swing things at the convention if they decide to change sides after some startling FBI news. The last polls in California showed the Democrats in a neck and neck, inside the margin of error battle. Bernie is still out there whipping his supporters into a frenzy over the rigged primary and pushing for every last vote. If Hillary’s supporters are complacent with the AP news that their gal has already won the race, it wouldn’t take too many of them staying home to tip it in Bernie’s favor.

I have a theory – it was clear Hillary was going to lose anyway. So how can the news media and democrats “frame” this loss as no big deal?

By giving a whole different reason for her abysmal showing.  Now, if Bernie wins, team Clinton can point to the allies in the media and blame them for her poor showing.

Politics is now all theater – theater of the absurd! And Sanders supporters are fed up:

Supporters of Bernie Sanders expressed outrage in the hours leading up to Tuesday’s primary elections, upset that The Associated Press and several television networks had already declared rival Hillary Clinton the party’s presumptive nominee.

Update: Everyone sees this news media move for what it is – the Political Industrial Complex wants Clinton over Sanders. Even the liberals get it now:

This is the perfect symbolic ending to the Democratic Party primary: The nomination is consecrated by a media organization, on a day when nobody voted, based on secret discussions with anonymous establishment insiders and donors whose identities the media organization — incredibly — conceals. The decisive edifice of superdelegates is itself anti-democratic and inherently corrupt: designed to prevent actual voters from making choices that the party establishment dislikes. But for a party run by insiders and funded by corporate interests, it’s only fitting that its nomination process ends with such an ignominious, awkward, and undemocratic sputter.

Could not have said it better myself

Bursting The Politically Correct BS!

Published by under All General Discussions

You know what Main Street America probably hates most about the Political Industrial Complex in America?

Political Correctness.

That nagging, overly sensitive, “can’t call BS on government BS”, muzzling of legitimate thoughts, concerns and OBJECTIONS!

Political Correctness is the shield the denizens of the Political Industrial Complex use to deflect  well-earned blow back by the voters.  Just look at how Donald Trump  this week has offended just about every corner of the Political Industrial Complex (or PIC, which encompasses the career politicians, their staff, the sea of paid consultants and advisors who manage their public image, crony donors and lobbyists and the pliant news media).

It is downright laughable at the reactions! For example:

You know you’re in trouble when you’re being lectured on sensitivity by Newt Gingrich. The former House speaker, a frequent Trump defender, emailed The Post’s Dan Balz to say that Trump’s claim that a federal judge had a conflict of interest because the Indiana-born jurist is “Mexican” was “completely unacceptable.” (He softened his criticism of Trump on Monday.)

Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) concurred that Trump’s attack on the judge and his claim that a Muslim on the bench also couldn’t judge him fairly was “absolutely unacceptable.”

Really? You cannot have a concern that someone’s background has tainted their objectivity? What is more human than having personal biases based on heritage, family or religion? This is WHY we have counter balances and cross checks built into government. Everyone has some biases – doh!

This is good reporting in my opinion:

To defend real estate mogul Donald Trump‘s claim that a federal judge is biased against him because of his “Mexican heritage,” his campaign spokeswoman argued on Monday that it also would be acceptable to accuse a female judge of bias on the basis of gender.

“Well, it would depend on her past and decisions she made as a judge,” Trump’s national spokeswoman Katrina Pierson said.

Noting that Trump’s sister is also a federal judge, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked Pierson if it would be “awful” to accuse her of bias “in regard to some case because she’s a woman.”

But Pierson would not rule it out, adding that “there is no question that there are activist judges in this country.”

“CNN gives a platform to Black Lives Matter, and that entire premise is injustice in the system due to race,” she said.

So Trump has doubled down and stated people of Mexican heritage could be biased.  People of the Muslim religion could be biased.  Women could be biased.

Where is the shock factor here? Most of the outrage is about someone finally telling the PC crowd they are so full of BS!

What Trump is doing is brilliant. He has all these clowns jumping up and down proving his point – as far as the PIC is concerned no one dares challenge the elites! No one.

Especially uppity voters who support a candidate like Donald Trump.

Has there ever been a better case for Trump than how he plays the PIC? He is nuking Political Correctness so Main Street can finally air their grievances.

The Left Continues To Push Trump Towards An Election Win

For people who are supposed to be the “intellectually elite” over the rest of us average Americans, the left side of the Political Industrial Complex (PIC) seems to throttled at full “self-destruct” this year.

The PIC is that isolated and insulated element of American society that includes the career politicians, their extensive staff, their sea of paid political consultants, the lobbyists and crony donors, and of course the pliant news media who live off the PIC’s orchestrated leaks/propaganda. This extensive element of American society lives and works in a different world than the rest of us. The PIC love to talk about their roots on Main Street, or their latest discussion they had with a denizen of that place far, far away. But they do not understand average day Americans.  They simply exploit us.

This year the election is a battle between the PIC (Hillary) and Main Street (Trump). While Trump himself lives a rarefied life in Trump Towers, he speaks to the issues and concerns of Main Street.

For example, Obama’s rampant wave of illegal immigrants which most average Americans oppose because illegal immigrants consume limited government resources and cheap entry-level jobs. Heck, most don’t pay their taxes or welfare share.

Hillary in 2016 is for more of the same – much, much more:

Clinton has pledged to enact amnesty within her first 100 days in office. As NBC recently reported: “If elected, the former secretary of state has promised to build on President Obama’s executive actions and introduce comprehensive immigration reform during her first 100 days in office.”

Clinton’s website has explained that by “comprehensive immigration reform,” Clinton means full citizenship for illegal immigrants, which would give them welfare access, voting privileges, and the ability to bring over their family members through chain migration.

We really need to stop the flow and absorb or deal with the immigrants who came in under Obama. I doubt there will be mass deportations, but there can be drastic changes.  There can be the rounding up violent criminals and – after some time in US prison – terminal deportation. Violence will be met with extreme justice.

There can be fines and back taxes paid if illegals wish to stay, or else they are free to leave.  I pay my taxes, and I have paid penalties for back taxes. If there is going to be a tax amnesty – it should go to US citizens first.

Hillary’s pandering to non-voters and their minority of voting allies will backfire this election cycle. This election is about average Americans and what they deserve.

And now the “Greens” have proposed another brilliantly stupid idea:

There is another alternative — which I’ll call Plan A — that would avoid the considerable litigation risks of the Clean Power Plan and achieve more quickly and with greater certainty a reduction in emissions at least equal to those of the Clean Power initiative. Under Plan A, the federal government would buy or, if necessary, seize under eminent domain all existing U.S. coal plants and close them over 10 years.

Emphasis from the linked commentary.

When the federal government tries to seize privately or state owned assets, it is time to dismantle said federal government. How putting more Americans out of work is going to build America’s future is beyond me.  I truly hope the Democrats run on this plank in their platform.

The overreach and arrogance of the left since Obama took office is fueling Trump’s Presidential campaign. He is a PIC outsider, one rich enough to fight off the leeches who make up the PIC and feed off the taxes (therefore the sweat, toil and sacrifices) of Main Street USA. If this continues, Trump will win in a landslide – which will be a mandate to begin to role back government.

Leftwing/Immigrant America Echoes Nazi Fascism

Update: Michael Goodwin asks the same question in the NY Post today I pondered when news of the San Jose violence broke:

Are President Obama, Hillary Clinton and violent leftists in cahoots to elect Donald Trump? Or are they just idiots?

The evidence is overwhelming that they all belong to a conspiracy — either of secret GOP sympathizers or of dunces. Those are the only options after Democrats took turns denouncing Trump in ways that actually bolstered the potency of his arguments. Three examples tell the tale.

End Update:

Yesterday during a Trump campaign event in San Jose, CA (whose mayor is a Democrat and Hillary Clinton supporter) violence erupted and average American citizens were attacked by a mob who claimed to represent illegal immigrants. It was a disgusting and despicable scene (click link to see the videos). A woman was cornered by a mob of people and pelted with eggs, another – who was pregnant – was hit and knocked down.

And of course this all made sense to the Mayor of San Jose:

An angry mob pelted eggs, tomatoes, and bottles at the spectators—as well as the police, who tried (and failed) to maintain some semblance of order. Other Trump supporters were set upon and punched. One was left with blood streaming down his face. (See representative video below.)

The mayor of San Jose, Democrat Sam Liccardo, reacted angrily to the events. Not that he was particularly upset at the violent mob that attacked innocent Americans, of course. No, his ire was directed at Mr. Trump. “At some point Donald Trump needs to take responsibility for the irresponsible behavior of his campaign,” the mayor said. Apparently it was downright “irresponsible” of Trump to even set foot in California’s third largest city.

This incident (and all previous ones) is going to shore up Donald Trumps “base” like nothing else could.  If Hillary and Bernie do not come out – without hesitation and without caveats – and denounce these acts – including a DEMAND that they end – they will be awarded at the ballot box this fall with the rest of the Democrats.

I only wish the Rolling Thunder had been in San Jose to help protect our democracy from the lunatic fringe.

Let’s see the leftwing/immigrant rabble get through these folks to attack innocent people!

The violence reminded me that those who claim Trump is a fascist/racist are actually projecting their own devils onto the GOP presidential candidate. It is these leftwing/immigrant protesters who are mimicking the tactics of Nazi Germany in the 1930’s:

On the night of November 9, 1938, violence against Jews broke out across the Reich. It appeared to be unplanned, set off by Germans’ anger over the assassination of a German official in Paris at the hands of a Jewish teenager. In fact, German propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels and other Nazis carefully organized the pogroms. In two days, over 250 synagogues were burned, over 7,000 Jewish businesses were trashed and looted, dozens of Jewish people were killed, and Jewish cemeteries, hospitals, schools, and homes were looted while police and fire brigades stood by.

Emphasis mine.

The true fascists  are those demanding California – and the US – are really part of Mexico. Which of course was a region conquered by a different European nation – Spain (that is why Mexicans speak “Hispaniola” – and not Aztec). It is no coincidence these interlopers have been at every Trump event in California and Arizona and beyond:

A threat from the Texas protests:

“If these people get what they want, Trump in there, I guarantee you — you think the Mexicans are going to lay down that easily? We don’t ever say nothing,” Ronald Gonzales, of Dallas, said.

“It ain’t gonna happen,” Gonzales said. “You really want the Mexicans to really, really stir, really get mad? Y’all don’t understand — we aren’t the minority anymore. We own Texas. Texas is Mexican-made. I’m five generations deep right here.”

This ain’t Mexico, and the only difference  between now and 1938 is these modern political “progroms” are not being done all in one night. They are spread out across political events so as to try and run under the media radar.

People are welcome here in America as long as they obey our laws. You would not let someone stay in your house who begins trashing it and attacking your family would you? We won’t either. If the Mexican community want to live here, do it peacefully. Remember – you are also primarily of European descent! We are not naive or stupid.

Of course, this is going to push most African-Americans away from the Democrats – they have been in the US longer than the Mexican-Americans and earned their freedoms from oppression. American fought a bloody civil war (whites against whites) to fix that mess. These descendants of slaves cannot stand the Hispanic immigrants’ comparison of their free-will migration into the US to that of African slaves snatched from their homes (and I actually do not blame them – Hispanics were slavers of Africans and American Indians too).

I also see these brutish tactics pushing the working class and unions towards Trump.  These are the people who have been out of work – or working 3 part time jobs – because of Liberal nonsense under Obama. They too are fed up with infusion of outsiders taking their jobs and laying foreign flags.

Americans  fought the brutalities of Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany. So don’t think these threats will cower us. I suspect and hope there will be increasing protection (like the Rolling Thunder) at all Trump events for the everyday citizens participating in our peaceful (but raucous) election. Trump is safe, but what about our fellow citizens?

These leftwing/immigrant protestors seem to think Americans won’t defend themselves or their homes. That would be a really dumb assumption:

Why Hillary’s Email Is A Big Election Deal

The rule that “fish rot from the head first” is a good metaphor to explain what it is about Hillary’s email violations that is so devastating:

When an organization or state fails, it is the leadership that is the root cause.

The problem Hillary has is she wants to lead a high-tech savvy nation into the future. She wants to convince voters of the nation that invented Internet – along with its historic internet-commerce icons like Amazon, Twitter, Miscrosoft, Apple iTunes, etc. – to vote for her as their leader.

But the email fiasco flies in the face of any arguments and claims she wants to make.  That is why this subject is so devastating.

It is not just devastating because most of America’s successful upper middle class understand this issue. It is devastating because those probably most irked by Hillary’s dismissal of email security would normally be a huge voting block for the Democrats.

Let explain why this is.

Email security to most individuals is not about Top Secret data from the State Department.  Email security is all about Identity Theft!

In recent years, the Internet has become an appealing place for criminals to obtain identifying data, such as passwords or even banking information. In their haste to explore the exciting features of the Internet, many people respond to “spam” unsolicited E-mail that promises them some benefit but requests identifying data, without realizing that in many cases, the requester has no intention of keeping his promise. In some cases, criminals reportedly have used computer technology to obtain large amounts of personal data.

So, when most of the middle to upper class voters read about Hillary’s cavalier attitude on cyber security, they naturally see someone who is a risk to everyone around her.  Someone similar to people we have all dealt with who have emailed our Personal Identifiable Information in the open (to our dismay). Or it reminds them of the big companies who exposed millions of normal working Americans to identity theft (see here, here).

Or even worse, Hillary represents similar idiots in government who exposed millions of people to identity theft (see here):

Two months after the Office of Personnel Management disclosed the second of two large intrusions into its IT systems, the government announced Tuesday evening that it now has a firm plan to notify the 21.5 million victims involved and has awarded a $133 million contract to provide current and former federal employees with identity protection services.

Emphasis mine.

The OPM debacle cost the tax payers a lot of money. And this is not an isolated incident in the federal government, which has been attempting to shore up its IT Security for a decade or more. Which brings me to a core democrat voting block in some key swing states: federal workers.

This poll out today explains how bad this is for Hillary:

Half of all voters think that Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server during her time as secretary of State was illegal, according to a new Morning Consult poll released Wednesday.

Half the voters get it.  Zero percent of the Political Industrial Complex (the politicians, their staff, the consultant industry, the lobbyists, the donors and – of course – the pliant news media) gets it. They use words like “rules” and “classified label” to try and make the issue esoteric.

But it is not esoteric, it is something federal employees are hammered over day in and day out. People are written up every day for much less breaches of IT Security.

Now most federal workers understand Democrats are for “big government” (i.e., will protect the family income) while the GOP should be for smaller government. But at some point, this reliable democrat voting block will reject the Democrats if they take a step too far. They may just stay home and not vote, but that will be enough in a tight race.

Hillary Clinton’s email problem is not confusing or some abstract issue for a majority of “likely voters”. Her stubborn refusal to come clean with her mistake, to acknowledge it was really, really bad, is pushing voters away.

They know someone like her cannot lead a High-Tech, World Leading nation into the future given this past.

It would be like asking Ralph Nader to be the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff – ludicrous!

Federal Conundrum: Open Boarders vs Endless TSA Lines

I was struck by something Victor Davis Hansen wrote last week about how Trump will ultimately corral the GOP vote and could go on to win the presidential election. It is a good read, but when I hit this section I had an epiphany:

Trump sounds crazy—and dangerous—in his idiotic idea to ban entry into the U.S. on the basis of religion. But is that inanity any less extreme than the administration’s European-style wish to welcome in tens of thousands of mostly young males from the war-torn Middle East without any proper method of identification and audit—at a time of spikes in radical Islamic terrorism in the West? Again, Trump cannot predicate immigration on the basis of religion, but he certainly could place a temporary moratorium of all immigration from particular Middle East countries like Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Libya, in the way that we do not open our arms to mass influxes of Iranians and North Koreans.

Emphasis mine. When reading this I recalled pictures of illegal aliens swarming across our borders. Illegals who then infiltrated our towns and neighborhoods across the nation. A flood of humanity  no one asked Main Street USA if they were willing to open their communities to. It was simply an edict issued to the rest of us from the Political Industrial Complex in their DC-Beltway Bubble world.

But then it hit me – my epiphany! (or is it an apostrophe?).

The denizens of the Political Industrial Complex (those politicians, their staff and consultants, their cozy donors and lobbyists, and their news-media allies) don’t live in those once quiet, once peaceful, once crime-free small towns of America – or even in the areas of our bigger towns and cities – where this sea of immigrants have congregated or been directed to live. Their kids don’t go to the same schools, play on the same soccer/baseball/football teams as the all these newcomers. They are not having to adapt at all to this upheaval!

Now before anyone on the left has a hissy-fit, I live in an extremely diverse area of Virginia with all nationalities and all income levels.  And we are very happy where we live. So this is not a xenophobic rant.

What struck me was the complete and utter contradiction of (1) our Federal Government’s open border policy where scores and scores of potential terrorists can come into our country and (2) the nightmare that is air travel today, where thousands of US citizens and other documented travelers have been delayed and burdened by the very same Federal Government?

Why aren’t the 100’s of thousands of illegal immigrants even asked for a photo ID, when 100’s of thousands of air travelers must produce one to fly within our own country? Yes, planes can be turned into dangerous weapons – but so can buses, trains, stadiums, schools, etc.  Why the double standard?

Now my epiphany: Because the Denizens of the Political Industrial Complex extensively travel by air. In fact, they are probably top-flight frequent-fliers one and all!

Or they have private or chartered planes. But those private or chartered planes must land and be serviced in the very same public airports.

Of course the “elites” have limos for road travel and live in gated communities. So they are at a very low risk of any trouble coming from illegal immigrants outside the airports. They never have to rub shoulders with those illegals on a daily basis.

It just seems the issues popping this election year are manufactured to drive the voters to conclude our leaders are out of touch, isolated from the rest of the country, inept, wasteful and way too arrogant to cover for their ignorance (i.e., their clear lack of street smarts). The issues are framing the political elites as the root of our most serious problems.

The voters know it is time to fire the Politicians and their entourages, time to dismantle the Political Industrial Complex.  It has been a long time coming. We voters have heard enough promises, followed by lame excuses for failing to make good on the promises, to know there is no fix coming from inside the Political Industrial Complex.

It is time to burst the elites’ bubble and bring in new management
