Olbermann Overboard

Published by at 3:18 pm under All General Discussions

The sacrifice of one’s life for their country is not meaningless or a waste. But tell that to the ever emotionally immature Keith Olbermann. He apparently went on another one of his wigged out diatribes (you know, where the host of a ratings-disaster show on a ratings-disaster network pretends he is equal to the President of the United States in authority and wisdom) and called the sacrifice of those who VOLUNTEERED to defend this country and make a difference in the ME ‘meaningless’. Mac Ranger has the pathetic details, but the ever emoting Olbermann has come to the point where he – not Bush, who had authorization from the People’s House on Iraq – has stooped to using fallen heroes as propaganda props for his unstable wailings. The pain that must be going through the parents, spouses and children of these fallen heroes when faced with this red faced baboon’s hate filled exclamations (and we all know what end of the baboon is red vs blue) – it is too much to imagine. MSNBC and NBC should apologize to all America and can this sad sack of monkey excrement. Olbermann’s madness only illustrates the need for some minimal standards of emotional stability for cable TV talk show hosts. As of now all NBC shows are being boycotted in The Strata-Sphere until Olbermann is shown the door. Except of course when I decide to check out who their sponsors are – so I can avoid them as well. And Count on it – I will.

Say No to NBC! Here, here!

I used to think Olbermann should go back to sports broadcasting; however, he has gone so far overboard I do not think he can even do that anymore. At least he only has about 60k people watching him every night so he is a very lonely voice of madness.

Olbermann is a fool and NBC is foolish for paying the idiot. He could probably reach more people by simply posting his drivel on youtube.

I honestly fail to understand why NBC would pay him money when the viewers can get much better quality material on the Internet for free.

MSNBC could probably get people to appear for free and deliver their opinions. Hey, there’s an idea. Let’s take reality TV into the realm of analysis and opinion instead of limiting it to entertainment.

Oblerman has an unhealthy OBSESSIVE hatred for conservatives and George Bush in particular. His arrogance is beyond belief. I have seen rant and scream and act like a little child. That kind of bitterness is hard to watch so I can’t stomach him often. The sky is a whole different color in his world.

It’s obvious that Mr O and NBC are never going to do anything unless they can be hit in the old pocketbook. One would think their subterranean ratings would do that…but alas NOT FAST ENOUGH!!!

I quit watching NBC , CNBC and MSNBC after the Clinton debacle. And I can’t stand Chris Matthews. I have never watched Olberman and probably have not missed a thing.

Although all the Kool-Ade drinkers here in the Strata-Sphere have hopped on the Olbermann Bad Bandwagon – calling NBC fools and worse – the ratings for Countdown have gone thru the roof since Olbermann pulled off the kid gloves and started calling out the Chimp in the Oval Office for his lawless incompetence – the latest outrage? Chimpy now says as President he has a right to open all Americans mail without a warrant.

Hope you folks will like Hillary Clinton going thru all mail to and from the RNC.

Conesplif, as a Senator, the Hildebeast can’t read anyone’s mail, and Hell will freeze over before she becomes President. However, I couldn’t care less if the President wants to read my correspondence with the RNC or anyone else. Why don’t you slither back over to DU.

Amazing, someone out there is trying to put lipstick on that pig.

The only ways I can stomach Olbermann is by reading about him at…ahem…the Iowa Hawk blog or the saner places, like here.

I’ve read, admired and promoted this blog for quite some time and signed on to respond when AJ lost his Springer while still reeling from losing mine, and then couldn’t respond. Hope your family’s pain has eased, have had many dogs, but that Springer was a hard loss. My apology for venturing off topic.

Well – if not Hillary, then John Edwards – or say – Barack Obama or do you seriously think that the American people – after having suffered thru the Nightmare of Dubbya are going to elect Mitt or Rudy or the Crackpot McCain in ’08? Still, good of you to step up and authorize whatever Democrat takes the Oval Office to read your mail. Personally, I’d prefer that the Executive Branch – Democrat OR Republican – follow the dictates of the Constitution and get a warrant – but then you spooks have never been big on following the Constitution have you?

    LOL!

Only the hard left see Bush as a nightmare!

Are you saying that 70% of Americans are hard left now?

Bush’s approval ratings continue to circle the toilet at about 30% positive. Tres-conservative Bob “the Prince of Darkness” Novak opines that support for Surge and Accelerate is at 12 Senators total. Each day that passes more Americans realize that the Deciderer is a dangerous mental incompentent – and Condi is busy rearranging the magazines in the magazine racks on the deck chairs of the Titanic.

In any case, 70% hard left is not a very promising number for ’08.

  12. conesplif says:

Latest Bush ratings from CBS poll: 23% support his handling of Iraq with 72% disapproving. And its only going to get worse.

    This is funny: Conesplit said:

Yea the latest numbers have him up to 60,000 viewers. So that would about put them thru the roof of the outhouse. If you add all his and all MSNBC and CNBC and CNN and then double them, you still get less than O’Reilly. In fact O’Reilly’s 3:00 am rerun beats Olbermans prime time. Outstanding numbers there.

AJ, better check Conesplif’s IP address, he is Ken in disguise.

    First, he can’t add.
He said: “Latest Bush ratings from CBS poll: 23% support his handling of Iraq with 72% disapproving. And its only going to get worse.”
and then proceeds to basically say that’s adds up to disapproval of Pres. Bush.
First, it’s slanted polling. If you ask me if I think the war is being handled in the best way, I might well say no.
That does not translate into ‘I don’t support Pres Bush.’. In fact I do very much support him. My only problem with the handling of the war is that Pres Bush is letting the Dems influence him too much. He should run it according to the Military people(how they say to win).

Then he seems to resort to name calling, the product of a small mind, that doesn’t have anything intelligent to say. Very much like Ken.

Then he jumps to a wrong conclusion, the law about the mail is an old one that has been around. Some classes of mail are protected and have always been. No one goes through them. Only certain classes and Pres Bush didn’t invent it.

    Suspicious

I will concede that my numbers may be off a shade on the number of viewers. I should’ve been comparing the doubled totals to Fox News, not just O’Reilly, but the message is the same. Olberman only got into this gig because no one could stomach him any longer on his sports announcing. He’s even worse at this.
