McCain Headlines Hillary Supporter Who Switched To GOP – Updated!

Published by at 10:48 am under 2008 Elections,All General Discussions

This is just the kind of ad the Democrats fear:

The reason they fear it is because they dare not attack the young democrat woman who has decided experience is much more important than ‘change’ (whatever that means). But attacked she will be, by the arrogant and oppressive purity police that inhabit both parties and who savage people who do not mindlessly toe the party line.

And that is when Obama will lose the independents and the election. I am not sure he can do anything to avoid this crackup on the left. But the far left fringe still hates the moderate left with a passion that is absolutely revolting. They will overreact in their scorn and purge the party of the centrists they need to win. Just watch.

Update: As predicted, the attacks begin:

It’s Debra Bartoshevich, a Wisconsin “Democrat” and pledged delegate for Hillary, who was stripped of her status in July.  Now, she’s shilling for McCain.  Deciding to change your vote is one thing… but for a Democratic delegate to go so far as to appear in a campaign ad for McCain… that’s stunning in its vindictiveness.

It’s her choice folks, respect it. But that is too high a hurdle for the emotionally immature liberal left (my apologies up front for their language):

She’s stupid. Seriously. Obama and Clinton are very similar when it comes to policy. So, she cuts off her nose to spite her face and jumps into bed with McCain. He’ll use her just like he’s used every other woman in his life and leave her when the next c*nt comes along.

It says they’re traitors.

right. she’s a Moron.

Joe LIEbermann (1+ / 0-)
set the prime example… er, well, after Zell Miller did the backstab boogey.

This actually doesn’t make me angry. It makes me really really sad. This woman is being manipulated and USED. She doesn’t even recognize it. She holds her sign and chants her mantra so easily.

The media has FAILED us. FAILED.

LOL! These pathetic people think the world is here to serve them! And they get angry and ugly when everyone else is out looking out for themselves and not kowtowing to these two IQ point geniuses. This is why Obama cannot win – his base is just too damn repulsive.

Update: Just a reminder this is how the Democrats chased Joe Lieberman from the party and led Ned Lamont to defeat in CT in 2006.

    Best. Campaign season. Evah.

I do have to find an alternate to popcorn though. It’s getting boring.

    “Best. Campaign season. Evah.”

to borrow a line from Hot Air, the only way it could be better is if it involved armies of killer robots or something.

    but then maybe it does!

Do any of your readers have a suggestion as to how I can get this message to the Senator?

I also posted this offer at Fuanglada blog.
I am desperately trying to find a way to contact the Senator with this offer so I can help his brother a little bit.

“The reason they fear it is because they dare not attack the young democrat woman who has decided experience is much more important than ‘change’ (whatever that means).”

    Oh, I dare.

    1) Hillary herself has come out in support of Obama, and has said outright that voting for John McCain is wrong. So, the woman obviously doesn’t care about Hillary’s opinions, despite supporting her.

    2) Hillary’s and Obama’s positions on most policies are almost exactly the same. McCain, on the other hand, disagrees with Hillary on just about every one of those, most of of them strikingly so (Health care, abortion, the war in Iraq, Supreme Court Justices, etc.) So, she obviously doesn’t care about Hillary’s policies, either.

So, despite claiming to be “a proud Hillary Clinton democrat”, she does not support Hillary’s choice of candidates, nor her policy stances. So, what did she actually support about Hillary?

Anyone that claims to be a Hillary supporter that is now voting for McCain is either A) racist, B) sexist, C) a rat-f*ck*ng Republican, or D) a moron. Or possibly E) all of the above.

I went out to get more popcorn, but some idiot converted all ours to ethanol. 🙁

Bres: did I get this quote of yours right?

Why would you say that? Obviously people in Scotland don’t understand the American system of freedom of choice. Or was that Sweden?

This freak show just gets better by the minute—I can’t wait till the anarchists and code pinkos do their rendition of Kumbaya at the convention—but then again I will not be watching—what a let down after a great Olympics, when does Deadliest Catch start the new season.

  9. Terrye says:

The woman has the right to vote for whoever she wants to. Free country. So far.

And there are people on the right who are just as bad. Last night I got in a discussion with someone from the right who has no intention of voting for McCain. He feels that his fellow GOPers has betrayed him and he is hoping that an Obama win will bring the party back to the right path.

If the far right sits this out and helps Obama win the same way Ross Perot helped Clinton win then I really do think the Republican party should try and cut ties with them.

But the Democrats are in worse shape. They have a woman who got 18 million votes only to be displaced by a less qualified man. A lot of those folks are pissed.

Oh, I’m sorry, I forgot to let you know this last week: you finally made into onto the small list I’m keeping of “People I Will Be Ignoring From Here On Out”. So, this is the last time I will even acknowledge your existence. Have a nice life.

“He feels that his fellow GOPers has betrayed him and he is hoping that an Obama win will bring the party back to the right path.”

Now that, I can respect – and I agree with him 100%. He’s decided not to vote for McCain because he disagrees with him, and the entire GOP stance. Good for him – IMO, we should all vote based upon issues, not just blind party affiliation.

However, the woman in that video says she supports Hillary, and she isn’t voting for Obama because… he isn’t Hillary. That is just the height of stupidity. Is anyone going to actually try and make the point that McCain’s views and policies are closer to Hillary’s than Obama’s are?

  12. Stix says:

Another under the Bus Another one under the Bus
Abnother one gone another one gone….

I wonder how many people are going to be thrown under the bus in this election..

With all the talk of purity on both sides of the aisle, I am beginning to agree more and more with AJ. The extremes on both sides are toxic and just impede national unity of any kind.

We got the Bush Derangement people, looking to impeach Bush for anything they do no agreewith. Then you got the nuts who believe in the fake COLB of Obama.

Anyone from another country will justlaugh athow our campaigns, it is a joke. It isall about who can throw as much mudonthe wall and hopefully some of it sticks.

That does not mean that I agree with Obama on anything, I think he will be bad forthis country. I disagree with him on almost all the issues, but I can still think he is a decent man. He maybe a Marxist, but he is a human being and is trying to do what is best fort he country in his eyes. I disagree, butI have never denegrated him. I may poke fun of him with Obamassiah, but that is the MSM fault with exaulting him as the next Messiah.

  13. breschau says:

Well, at least now I know which of the four categories she falls into.

This woman actually believes that McCain is in favor of Roe vs. Wade.

I guess she somehow missed this page on McCain’s web site.

Oh how I wish libs could be relied on. You say it and don’t mean it. Obamarama has taught you well.

Oh, and I notice you didn’t deny saying it so I will use your quote frequently:

    so everyone note:

  15. Redteam says:

    Hey bresch:
Here’s a little sample of why Biden is a gift to McCain:

Biden also stumbled through a discourse on race and education, leaving the impression that he believes one reason that so many District of Columbia schools fail is the city’s high minority population.

After a lengthy critique of Bush administration education policies, Biden attempted to explain why some schools perform better than others — in Iowa, for instance, compared with the District. “There’s less than 1 percent of the population of Iowa that is African American. There is probably less than 4 or 5 percent that are minorities. What is in Washington? So look, it goes back to what you start off with, what you’re dealing with,” Biden said. He went on to discuss the importance of parental involvement in reading to children and how “half this education gap exists before the kid steps foot in the classroom.”

So Biden says the black kids are disadvantaged because they are born black? BEFORE they ever go to school? I thought it was schools being slanted toward teaching whites

Wonder how long it’ll take before Obama realizes Biden was better for McCain than for him and throws him under the bus, gonna have to get a bigger bus.

The Gift that keeps on Giving.

Has anyone else gotten the impression that Obie never really thought that he would get this far?

I wonder if he woke up the morning after the HildaBeast dropped out and say “Oh Dear Allah! (PBUH) … What in the world do I do now?”

The Biden choice seems almost like an escape hatch for a guy who doesn’t really want to be on the journey he is on.
