Good News For McCain

Published by at 8:36 pm under 2008 Elections,All General Discussions

So far Obama only has won VT and McCain has won KY and WV. Amazingly a lot of states are just too close to call, including VA, NC, SC, NC, GA, OH, and IN. Well, we know Obama is not ahead +15% as the lopsided national polls claimed.

What we have here are conflicts between election results and exit polls. The exit polls were very heavy democrat (as usual) but no one is believing them. This is good news for McCain who is definitely alive and kicking so far.

BTW, Carville just said if Obama’s national edge is less the 3% he will not carry these states. But if Obama’s national numbers were right, and the exit polls show large leads, then they should be calling these states. My guess is they know something about the McCain Surge.

In most states, I would think the metro areas votes would come in first, expected to go to Obama, but in Va, early votes are going to McCain, I’d think that good news.
