Palin Won! Obama Lost

Why did America tune in? To see one of our own fight the political class. Frank Luntz’s ‘independent’ group went something like 80% for Palin. She has changed the entire political landscape. The Palin phenom is just happening! Drudge poll shows 75-25 Palin. Look, this is HISTORY! Palin destroyed the media myths. Please note: Palin, […]

Live Blogging 2008 VP Debate

I am going to take a different tact tonight and basically score this like a fight with rounds. Each question will be a round and I will highlight the punches laid and how powerful they were. Then I will score the round. I will not be going in depth on the question or the response. […]

Pre Debate Thoughts

I think it was Bill Sammon on Special Report last night who had the best summary of what is at stake. Palin can recover from the media bashing of the last two weeks by being her combative self. If a question about inside the beltway minutiae comes up she should chide Ifill for wasting time […]

Sarah-Cuda

The Huffington Post has compiled some segments of Palin’s prior debating stints and it is impressive: I like this hard hitting Sarah-Cuda better than the sunny optimistic one that has been on TV interviews. I think she needs to show both tonight – sunny optimism at the end, after she has dispatched Joe.

Latest State Polls Up At RCP

Published by under 2008 Elections

There are a rash of new state polls which make it look like a blow for O-bomba. The truth is a lot of polls were moving towards Obama last week, so there was movement in the electorate. But as I noticed two national polls showed a reverse trend, and some of these polls are clearly […]

Gwen Ifill Needs To Decide: Book Royalties Or Moderator Chair

PBS and the presidential debate commission have a real disaster on their hands. Gwen Ifill, the liberal leaning, Obama supporting, supposed debate moderator has one more conflict of interest which cannot be swept under the carpet: she stands to gain vast riches from her book on Obama if Biden wins the debate tomorrow night. Geez, […]

Obama Sliding In The Polls Since Debate And Bailout Defeat

Well, it seems the ABC News/Washington Post poll I noted earlier was not really an outlier but a predictor, given today’s Gallup Daily Tracking Poll showing the same 50% cut into Obama’s lead of 8 points last week. I would not be surprised to see this is just the beginning of another poll drop by […]

The Real Sarah Palin On Hugh Hewitt

Published by under 2008 Elections,Sarah Palin

Today’s must listen.  And why Joe Biden could be in serious trouble in tomorrow’s debate. Who is the one who will be talking tongues to America: the hockey mom or the policy wonk who can name a 100 inside the beltway statistics and acronyms?

Proof Positive Palin Has A Touch The Political Industrial Complex Doesn’t Get

Kathleen Parker is out whining that more people see HER as inept and buffoonish than see those traits in Sarah Palin. Parker is now the darling of the liberal elite attacking Sarah Palin, since she is one of the few conservative elite who ‘get’s it’.  As I said when Parker wrote her first hand-wringing bit […]

Some Rare Bad Poll News For Obama

While all the national and state polls out since the first presidential candidate debate have been going Obama’s way, one poll out today is bucking the trend. And I am really surprised at which poll it is – the ABC News/Washington Post poll from after the debate. As with all polls it is more important […]
