Rest In Peace Elizabeth
While I totally disagreed with the woman’s politics, I definitely feel for Elizabeth Edwards because of the jerk she married. If anyone deserved to be sued for malpractice it was the two-timing John Edwards – who infamously promised that if he and John Kerry were elected Christoper Reid would walk again. The guy was a lying piece of ….
Anyway, it is clear Elizabeth was dealt a tough hand in life. On top of her infamously pathetic husband, she had to deal with cancer. She seemed to rise above it all and seemed to be a wonderful role model. My prayers go out to her, and I truly hope she is in a better place now.
And if liberals need any more proof life is not fair and there is nothing you can legislate to make it fair – look at this woman and what she had to deal with.

I second that one. I understand she was an exceptionally good lawyer until her son was killed in a car accident at age 16. That seemed to change her a lot. I wonder if that kind of emotional strain contributes to cancer. It seems like it does.
BTW, I know an oncologist who was very angry with John Edwards for trying to run in 2008. Knowing the type of cancer Elizabeth Edwards had, the oncologist knew she would very likely die before the end of the first term if John Edwards had won. John Edwards may be even more narcissistic than Obama.
I feel for her, but at the same time she knew all along her husband was a cad, and we almost got him for President.
